Yeah, Sideshow. Got my Wesker today, a day ahead of schedule, and got a call from UPS notifying that I'll have to sign for a package tomorrow, which I would assume is for Sheva. I would assume I didn't get a call for Wesker since I used reward points on him, making him less than $100, but I'm not sure if that's what Sideshow told UPS, so I'm not sure if I'm getting Sheva tomorrow or not.

For me I got my Wesker a day early as well, but UPS still called and said that I wuold have a package delivered today (though nothing is supposed to). Today came and no package, so Im assuming they were calling about the wesker box.

I finally got my Sheva yesterday and boy is she one gorgeous figure! The rubber body looks great, the tailoring on the clothing and belts is awesome and her boots are amazing, the look like real leather!

The pouches were a real ***** to get onto the belt, but I am very pleased with how she turned out.

Just finishing my double whammy review for Wesker and Sheva, here are a few pics of Ms Alomar-

great pictures

im sad cause mine came with a broken arm and Sideshow didnt have any replacements to give me so i have to find another place to get her at now:monkey2

Wesker looks great but he should be saying to someone (offscreen)
"I dunno who she is, or why she's standing next to me, but that is the worst cosplay I've ever seen..."

i never thought of that...do they usually replace defective products easily? anybody know how fast they reply to a request like that?

er, just from my experience they're are quick to reply, usually they want you to send the product to them first if the figure itself is broken, but give it a go an find out I suppose.

I get mine tomorrow. Huzzah!

Epic seasonal timing...

just sent Hot Toys an email, here are a couple pics to show you guys what had happen

A delicate operation... but you may be able to repair it... You'll need to separate the silicon outer layer from the inner frame (As the silicon is cast around the inner frame). Most likely the plastic and metal interface attached by 2 screws is broken... weakest part, I'd say.. The other metal parts are very tough/strong, it'll most like to wear out the joint/spring, than break..

A pic for your reference...

so is he rubber part actually attached to the frame or can it be slowly but easily pulled apart?

The silicone layer is cast (poured in liquid form) around the inner frame. After which HT applied some sort glue to adhere the silicone at the top shoulder of the arm to the inner plastic part (refer to my pic: The area around the black Philips head screw still has some silicone/glue residue). Free the top glued area (stretch/pry/cutting), you should be able to slowly slid the inner frame out....
