Non canon are usually not good. :lol

The controls are one thing, I can't get into it. It's things I don't like... which I get bored or annoyed. Whatever once I get the trophy I can forget about it. You know 6 was going to have clones, but Paul beat Capcom to it. :lol

5 is better than 6?

yeah the same guy that thought about the scene Chris vs Leon wanted to make clones of Ada.. :gah: :lol

It wasn't as successful as 5, I think its harder for me to see what they REALLY did wrong in 6 I head diferent opinions everywhere but thats it... just opinions, everyone has a different complain and thats matter of taste.

I think what I hear the most is "bring the horror back"

2 > zero > remake > 3 > 1 > 4 > 5 > 6

-_-

I don't think I could put the RE games in a scale but 1 is my favourite, I like the others but the worst games would be Zero (because it killed the old style RE) and Dead Aim imho

It's fine if Capcom wants to try different styles/etc, I get it but it obviously didn't work well. I just hope they learned from 6 and actually listen to it's fans. I don't think making 7 the same style of 6 would be good for Capcom. We'll see.

For me its; RE3, REmake, RE2, RE1, Code Veronica, Zero, 5, 4, and 6.

Ugh, Zero screwed up continuity a bit, but it did show us more Wesker and Birkin as well as the T-Virus origin. Unfortunately, it had lame pacing and was really not necessary. It's my least favorite RE of the classic RE's.

why was the pacing in zero lame? i think its best of the bunch. Re 1/Remake you spend most of your time in the mansion, do a few outside things, return to the mansion then spend 10 minutes in the lab. Re 2 you run till the rpd station, you do a big chunk there then run through the sewers and dead factory to the lab then spend some time there. Re 3 You pretty much are constantly moving area to area. In Zero i didnt feel like at any point i was running through areas inbetween the main areas. it was 4 blocks of play. The train, UTF, Church/tram then the factory.

The only frustration is having to keep getting the hook shot.

I totally forgot to add CV to my like list, which is odd because id put it #1. But i think its pacing is asss about face

It was just dumb over all. I think most can agree it didn't give the same feeling as say RE2, REmake or CV in terms of "satisfying" when the credits rolled.

Having Marcus spread the virus was just retarded...

Im in the minority then :( i loved it! The only thing i didnt like, was the end boss was terrible. Id of much preferred a longer fight with Marcus once he transformed into the humanoid queen when you get to the incinerator. Once you start that fight, you shoot him for 10 seconds and he cant attack because of the constant fire, then he gets his more tentacled form but instead of dropping him with more fire, have it so you have to lure him into the incinerator or something with a 5 minute timer. Not the lame fight with the opening of the roof.

I agree :goodpost:

That game showed to the whole world that the old RE formula was in fact, broken, because it didn't had any innovation and felt like a RE1 rip off, but anyway it was just time for a change

Yeah, in Capcom's eyes it represented how stale the series had become :(

Hence why RE4 was stressful when in development due to Capcom's threats of killing the series if it didn't do well.

Yeah, worst last boss fight since Nemesis IMO :monkey3

Damn i forgot the final fight with Nemesis. The music, and the fact he was still coming after all that had happened was intense. But the fact he is a giant crawling squid and all you had to do was push 3 crates was a bit of a let down

I hated that, even though I could get past the cult robe and the singing. To this day I still wonder where that giant effing Scorpion was hiding on that train :lol

And he was in full control of the leeches and was more intelligent than any BOW that would be produced in close to the next decade in RE4 >_>

Definitely a herp derp moment.

The build up for waiting for the Rail Gun to fire really was epic still :clap

Hell no they made jill nose too damn bulbous in re5. Like i understand if Julia voth killed permission to use her face and they had to change it but damn!

I liked the walking statue in RE4.... and the mutating lion, turned dinosaur, turned fly:dunno

jk. :lol

Jills nose never bothered me in 5. the only thing i cant get over is when she speaks it looks like she has a mouth full of broken glass her teeth are that bad
