Just got mine. Love everything except the swords.
The EX sword I'm particularly mad about because not only is it extra bendy, there is no hamon paint detail on the edge like the proto.
The rubber arms seem sturdy, good ratchets keeps poses. The other parts of rubber are areas that have joints like the butt and upper torso, makes sense so it doesn't hinder or damage paint. The rest feels like hard material.

OKAY. Just realized my right arm's ratchet joint isn't ratcheting. I think someone else had this same problem. Let's see how this goes. Unfortunately it looks like the whole figure has to be replaced because the arm doesn't pop out or anything from what I can see.

Just opened mine also have an arm that doesn't ratchet how terrible. First issue with a figure hope Sideshow can fix it quick.
Side note I never read instructions but with this guy I planned to as soon as I saw it...does it really not come with instructions or was it just me???

The instruction should be in a plastic taped to the outside bottom of the plastic tray.
Which arm doesn't ratchet for you? This seems like a common problem now. Maybe this is a bad batch?
Haven't heard of any first shipment HK figs having issues.

I'm not sure what to actually think of it. The figure looks cool no doubt, but some of the design elements they implemented on this figure are kinda odd. The visor is a big disappointment, just doesnt fit very well but thats been covered before. The ankle pegs are flat discs, so his feet only rotate in very limited way. My sword arm mechanism broke in two different spots sadly, but its a "D" shaped peg for a one way locked fit into its hip. As a result the sword sits too low on his back and too high on his hip. I ended up rounding the peg so I could get his sword to sit lower on its side.
meh, reward points. not going to get the iron man version, one of these is more than enough imo...

well that doesn't sound good, not sure about this anymore. i mean 300 bucks and its that fragile! i guess this will be a pass then.

i wouldnt call rubber arms and cheap plastic swords cutting edge technology 
HT could have used metal for the swords at least. I still haven't seen much ninja posing either, thats one of the things i was most curious about is how well he can pose.

Figure should be like $250. Especially with the cheapo blades.
Arms really aren't much a problem... unless you get one with broken ratchets!
I don't really care about potability honestly. I collect these because they look nice, not to play around with them. As long as they look good on the shelf, I'm happy.
People would say then collect statues... problem with statues is they all look bad compared to HT figs. They can't get HT's level of clean detail and realism.

I cant wait to get mine! Im going to try and mod him to be more accurate. I hope to got i dont get a bad arm ratchet though, thats all im concerned about.

Does the elbow still hold without the ratchet?
Not from the videos ive seen, without the ratchet it goes all 3a master chief.
