It's a GREAT game, krec . Believe me, I was one of the most critical people of Rising on SSF, but after I've played it a few times, I've done a complete 180.

It's like a fun, high-octane, over-the-top parody of MGS. Highly recommended.

I'll cosign this. Rising is different enough that it makes it fun. I would love a sequel. I want more adventures of Raiden and Blade Wolf. This and the stealth suit Cap are my 3 biggest waits. Maybe Falcon if he turns out cool.

It's $250 here, just finished with payment moments ago. I'm not surprised if it's more on Sideshow though. This is only my second immediate PO of a HT figure since the DX09. When's the PO up anyway?

Yeah, I hope it's not much more than that. I'm actually okay with $250 (ugh... ). Sideshow usually has their new orders up on Thursdays - so, I'm guessing, it'll probably be up this coming Thursday.

Yeah, I didn't minded paying this much either, it's frikkin' Revengeance Raiden FFS.

Well it says there sometime between Q42014 to Q12015, other than that I wasn't informed of anything else unfortunately. Here's the link to XL Shop's PO page:

Oh, well that's not bad at all. Especially considering that Sideshow usually gets their shipments within several weeks to a month later than the distributors in Asia. It'll certainly give me enough time to sell some stuff for it .

Yeah, I have to start rearranging my MGS collection (again). I'm getting rid of my MGS PAKS and near mint BTAS Batmobile, Batwing plus other sealed BTAS stuff. I can't believe I just paid $250 without second thoughts.

A year ago you wouldnt think that everybody would be praising the Raiden Spin-off game and hating on Ground Zeroes. Falling in love with the Raiden HT but hating the Naked Snake and Boss figures.

I wonder where we will be this time next year.

Yeah, I guess it makes sense selling the things that would carry the most money. Right now, I'm just planning on getting rid of my PAKs and some transformers.

I saw the Batmobile and Batwing on eBay and they seem to fetch ridiculously high prices if they're sealed or mint. If I get lucky I can recoup what I paid for Raiden AND have change for several bags of chips to munch reading the MGSV thread.

Funny now that you've mentioned it, GZ is getting less favorable reception than MGR. Way to go Platinum!

Never really liked the MGS3 HT figures, I regret getting Snake and the Boss seems unappealing. Snake's inaccurate sculpt doesn't help either, Medicom did a way better job.

Yeah it's the same guy. They basically just play Raiden as older and more comfortablenwith combat. Once you get the hang of the controls, there is nothing quite as satisfying as ripping out the enemies spine and crushing it to replenish your health.

What if they made a Sam BAF figure? Collect all 5 Raiden variations. And you can build your own Jetstream Sam!

If they can tweak the manual slashes it'd be great, coz on 99% of the time smashing the hit button is way faster than using the analog stick, and in the game you usually don't require precise manual slashing other than the boss fight, i forgot whether precise manual slash will deal more damage or not but i'm guessing smashing the hit button is as effective.

They should make it so that should i manage to precisely slash a critical part with the manual like the head it'd instantly fall off.

And if make it so that you have to manually block attacks not based on which direction the enemy is facing you and instead on where the enemy is attacking (say enemy slashes your left you have to move the sword to left to block) would make it more of tactical than smasher.

He's a really nice guy, too. When I had a Facebook account, he'd reply to me whenever I'd ask him if he was going to voice act Raiden . Both he and Hayter have a close relationship with their fans. I love those guys.
