Well the other parts are just so that the the thing can move without damaging paint. Being hard plastic would hinder it even more and look iron-mannish. Raiden does have some organic parts to him even if it is synthetic.

The parts won't even be affected since it's not bending like the arm joint. Unless you keep him out on your front porch I suppose.

Ugh...Those rubber elbows. They at least look like they articulate well, though.

Also, the gun is a useless accessory, and the sword is way too short. Other than that, it looks like a great figure.

yeah theres no point complaining as its at the MP stage, i just hope the rubber holds up good when posed. I think i will wait a while though, see what others think of it in hand. Doesn't look like HT addressed the short sword issue though.

No problem with rubber here, but why's he still got a tiny sword?

I'm wondering weather I should order form onesixthbruce or wait for it to possibly drop in proce

I kinda like this pose:

It's not a big problem at all. It looks like the hand is just rotated out of alignment with the forearm. And because it's a rubber suit, you won't be able to twist the forearm into another position.

In comparison, you can see that the hand that's holding the blade is aligned with the forearm, and it looks pretty normal.

Nothing for Hot Toys sells out anymore, so you can definitely wait for a price drop if you want.

Really? I suppose a big concern is custom fees too. Also I've been wrong before. Im cracking, I'm gonna try and get it now!

BigBoss is gonna have to wait too

yeah i do agree the rubber adds kinda of a bulk to the forearms. Honestly this figure should have just been engineered like and IM figure. The joints could have been hidden easily if done like the recent IM's.

Are we seeing the same pics?

These make me want the exclusive blade. No idea how to get that in the UK, without paying out the a$$

At least the rubber looks think, maybe it will be less prone to cracking :dunno

I don't plan on having 90 degree bent arms, but at least a little bend can be accomplished with no issues.

This.

It's gonna be like arkham city bats again.
Such a shame. Although Budget Stark did mention that the mark up of the figure in china was really high....maybe it would be a good idea to just keep the order and sell it later as it may become really expensive...

But damn. Really disappointed. To those that don't mind the thick rubber (ha), thats great and I'm happy for you. But all the reasons why those who don't like it are all valid to me
