I am not on anyone's side but can't a mod do their job and ban this P.? All this person does is complain.

P., we already know you hate the predators and everyone that likes them. You can be an educated and cultured person by refraining from posting anymore. All you do is derail the conversation with nonsense.

erm, you're absolutely wrong.
1) i love predators and collect them all, and i posted and explored more about predators than anybody you can name
2) it's not my fault that people who don't like me cannot say anything against the facts from movies i bring up (for example, you just called movie references and actually existing gas qualities "derailing with nonsense") - and have to make up anti-science opinions, troll or try to provoke in other ways.

All these new pics of the mask do is piss me off as it looks like eyes are black again. Before they looked dark and reflective, now they look just black plastic like P2 2.0 had.

They look great in the pics to me, I really doubt they changed anything in only a couple days, but I could be wrong. I honestly just think it's under different lighting and the lenses aren't catching direct light so they look darker. Also the comparison pics seam to be from a higher and lower angle so it is making the figure look different. This looks so much better under lower light, I was not a fan of the con pics with their super bright lights.

Hmm, might be the first predator from Hot Toys I might fork out some cash for. Almost bought the elder but couldn't stand the awful placement of the shoulder cannon so near to the head.
I absolutely HATE the AvP movies but this predators design is awesome. Don't think I can resist this.

The eyes are not black when i look at the real thing.It is lighting problem.

how did you fix yours? i took off the whole backpack and glued it to another position. did you do the same or were you able to do something more complex and accurate?

I did something more complex than that. I used a dremel tool and removed some of the plastic of that backpack etc.

To me, masked head looks good enough. I will get this one for sure for my pred collection. Sold the first one with whip years ago so I might try to get this to finally create a 1/6 diorama.

Unmasked head? IMO it won't be accurated. This is Tsang we're talking about. It'll be his "idealized" version instead.

Well ok just thought the eyes looked bland black. The news pics do show the neck is spot on in length to me. He looks almost perfect in those pics as far as build, much better than the other con photos all right. I'm ready for this. Shame there isn't going to be a hybrid or any new aliens to go with. HT and aliens seem to just suck.

To be fair, few of them are good (AVP Warrior, Predalien with dynamic stand, Dog/Bull Alien)... until HT decided to use rubber body instead of plain-ol'-visbile-joint style, for it decreased both durability and playability at once.

thanks. i think did seemingly the same - to let the hand move, to make matching surfaces shapes between the backpack and the back armor for the glue.

i hoped you discovered a way to separate the shoulder piece from the medkit piece. looks like there is a seam there, but i couldn't break it.

I fixed mine. It's removable.

Wow P. that looks horrible, I understand why you put it in spoiler tags now, it looks like somebody painted a preds dreds bright blue, strapped a 2x4 to their shoulder and put a laser cannon on the end of it The color of the Avp elder's dreds looks so much better and that laser cannon is way too far out there Just busting your balls, don't freak out. I always liked predator 2 for the new designs and the new advanced tech that helped make the creature's gear more then just wrist blades and a laser, and I always thought the elder was a cool design, but I never understood how the p2 elder could activate and aim a laser without the bio helmet. That was always so stupid to me, I mean everything that we have seen and basic knowledge says that the bio helmet has technology that reads the brainwaves of a pred and makes the gear work thru thought alone, but that doesn't work if there is no helmet on Also the p2 elders sword is a crap design and the musket is a rediculous weapon for a predator to carry in their belt for hundreds of years, it sucks as a weapon for real Having always loved predator tho, I was able to look past these rediculous things and still find much to love about predator 2 and everything that came about because of it. It is a classic edition to the predator universe, speaking of which, here is another classic edition to the predator universe brought about by Avpr, the interior of the bio helmet, perfectly designed to reflect the ability to read the predators thoughts and make the gear act accordingly. Something long overdue in the franchise and I love the design, I even have the DX wolf helmet that mimics this design, here are the ADI pics from inside the monster shop. Brilliant design!

Here is a pic of the scene where Wolf puts on the ancient predator bio helmet (the one who was killed by the predalien and the shot and helmet that the interior was designed for) and here is a pic of the DX Wolf helmet that I have that has incorperated that interior design into it. I have the sideshow wolf helmet also and they are both great but the DX is so amazing for all its detail and real working laser sights!

it's just a helmet with nothing "bio" in it. "bio" comes from jajuja fans for zero reason. and predators operate their tech both through buttons or wireless thinking with or without those helmets, as it is established by the whole P2 crowd, switching invisibility on and off. if you already afford "reading brain waves", there may be no need in for an additional mechanical detail, if you find one already biological.
for example, they also don't have any audible language, and their mouths aren't built for compex pronunciation, so they just parrot sounds (parrots can repeat sounds complex enough, lacking lips and properly moving soft tongue - just like predators). so how do they interact without helmets "reading brain waves", before even beginning making tech?
did you notice those tendrils going out from the insides of their skulls, the only reason for which would be a neuron connection to the brain? the ones that some jajuja fans consider to be dredds made from hair?

that's because your ideas have too much jajuja crap in them, making you unable to percept and analyse facts

as i've always said, ADI predaturd faces, unable to close mouths, won't fit into helmets beaks, designed for original predators beaks, and those masks proved that right when first photos of them appeared in ADI book.
there is also no breathing equipment here - and actually no isolated compartment for breathing at all. brilliant design truly.
