Does anyone know if the display base with the added ribbons fits in a detolf or not? My figure is currently on the way and unsure if I should even bother setting up if they don’t fit

Went to Japan recently and saw this in stock at Toy Sapiens for $400. Made me kick myself that I'd already paid $700 to import it. On the other hand it wouldn't have fit in my luggage on the way back.

I don't think it'll fit - just measured mine at around 17 1/2" - from the bottom of the base to the top of the gold "WW" logo.

Just got this today, it's replacing my BvS version of Wonder Woman. Gotta say, what a difference 7 years can make in improvements!

After two months, her hair has remained in top shape 🤟

This is one of my favorite 1/6 figures, probably my favorite Wonder Woman collectible next to the JND Platinum 1:3 statue.

I placed part of the hair in front of her front right shoulder - feels like a waste not to display the rooted hair prominently, considering the premium paid.

Was doing some "Spring" cleaning in my office and reposed my WW. Nothing extravagant but man I love this figure. It actually convinced me to sell my JL and WW84 versions.

I know the InArt version will be here one day but with how much their lineup keeps getting pushed out she's gotta be 2-3 years out at this point, so I'm really glad I got lucky and picked this up.

Also I still can't believe the meltdown that occurred in this thread. I forgot about it until I came back here to post. Yeesh.

Anyway, great figure. 👍🏻

I purchased one on the aftermarket and had to return it. The one I received was missing the lasso hook on one side of her harness. The factory accidentally manufactured it with two non-hook pieces so both sides looked identical.

Guess I'll wait for the InArt version...

So has this figure been fully released? Anyone still waiting on theirs?
She sold out months ago! 1500 pieces. I ordered her through SS in June and got her delivered in October. You can find her on eBay, but you'll pay nearly double retail. Best WW in this scale, by far. I'm still highly anticipating InArt's version, but who knows when that'll be announced

Yeah I guess it's over for this one...
Now it can't be found for less than 1000$...

WW really is the character I have the hardest time choosing a figure for.
For me before Golden armor, the likeness was "meh" and I don't trust the first rubber bodies.
Golden armor ? The head is great but I don't really care about the golden armor look.
WW 84 with sculpted hair ? I think the likeness is a step back from Golden armor. Not atrocious but not as good.
WB100 fells like the best but...1000$

Damn ! I will never get a WW figure.

If you don’t mind the long wait, I believe InArt was going to produce her.

I heard that but isn't it just a rumor ? Did they announce something ?
It was in their list of confirmed future releases, but they are moving so slow and have only shown one female figure prototype (Daenerys) to the tune of mixed reviews, so it'll probably be a couple of years at this point.

Biggest concern being if they start to drop things from that original list or divert from it and go in other directions as time goes on.

Yeah and for some weird reasons, every company (except for Hot Toys) seems to have a hard time making good female figures with good likeness. Inart may be good at rooted hair with great material but...we have yet to see a good female figure from them. I'm not holding my breath. I prefer to think this figure won't happen and find something that has been released.

I guess my best bet would be to buy the WW 84 version and a Goden Armor head to put on her, in order to have the best likeness (to me) with a classic look. But it may be hard to find without buying the 2 figures...
Well...even if I buy these two WW figures, it will be cheaper than the WB100 version... 😓

This is what I did.

I had put the 1984 WW on PO within a few weeks after it was announced. It took a long time for that figure to be produced and arrive l but once it arrived, I thought it was well worth the wait bk the costume is very cool and the silicone body is terrific. The headsculpt it came with is nice but yeah the likeness is not great, so I found a Golden Armor headsculpt for it.

I think the the 1984 body paired with the Golden Armor head is the best version of Wonder Woman out there short of WB 100 version.

I recently saw Golden Armor headsculpts on eBay. I hope you can get one there or somewhere else.
