I think its the partial opening to reveal the Obadiah inside. Ill bet there is a piece that is removed.

I'm so excited for this. This will be my holy grail of 1/6 figures. Day one purchase for me. It doesn't matter how much. I'll make it work out. I already canceled any plans to buy the Captain America and potentially Jack Sparrow. Sucker Punch, Joker, and Iron Monger come first!

That's no statue mate,it's in amongst all the other HT 1/6 figs,
You can also see the attachable flight thrusters in that last pic
