I'd prefer a Sideshow Maquette or ThreeA q/6 but i'll take whatever i can get

I doubt I'd buy either, but, I'd just be curious if HT could pull off the future Sentinels, logistically. It'd probably have to have exposed joints, like Jake Sully, but the sheer amount of detail required to make it, with all of the paneling and everything, would make it really unique. Sideshow'd have an easier time of it, since they wouldn't need to worry about articulation and stuff, but I disagree with 3A. Their robots are pretty cool, what with the weathering and all, but these Sentinels aren't exactly your traditional "robots," and they really wouldn't need that sort of weathering, either.

Hot Toys done goofed if they don't make a line (a line) for this movie. First Class was a great movie so I don't see why it should have been such a surprise that DOFP would also be. They should have planned for it. Fassneto, Mystique, Wolverine at the very least should happen.

ASM2 was vastly inferior and yet is getting 3 figures that we know of, one of them gigantic. So get on the X-men bandwagon at long last HT. If you don't do it for this film then WTF will it take.

You mean 75 Iron Mans? Though, they have made several Caps, too, now.

I would commit to Fassbender Magneto, JLaw Mystique, McAvoy Xavier, and a 70s Wolverine, and those 4 would be it for me. I just no longer have any attachment to the original trilogy cast (minus Rogue, who doesn't even appear in DOFP)... If I could only have 2, it would be Magneto and Xavier still....there's no better pair as far as X-Men goes, IMO.

But it's the same as it's ever been for me - No Fassbender Magneto, no interest in ANY figures from this movie.

I am ok with Cap and even Spidey as fans want those as well. Xmen needs the same love....

Especially as X-men will make more than ASM2 and Cap 2. Could be the way Fox does licensing tho and not HT's fault.

Movie popularity doesn't equate to Hot Toys success, though. The most popular pre-Nolan/pre-Iron Man HT figures were probably AvP Predators. Avatar figure flopped. My guess is the last two Wolverine figures didn't impress HT very much with their sales, so we see this. Of course, Extreme Snowboarding Goblin went on clearance at SSC--which is unheard of for a HT figure--so I'm not sure why they're going all out with the Spidey villains, either. I guess they do look more interesting than the X-characters, but. . .

just absolutely ridiculous the lack of awareness of Xmen from HT, and Im gonna be even more frustrated when I start seeing dozens of batistas and racoons from Guardians before I see a Magneto..

just absolutely ridiculous the lack of awareness of Xmen from HT, and Im gonna be even more frustrated when I start seeing dozens of batistas and racoons from Guardians before I see a Magneto..

QFT! Though, I do have a soft spot for Space Raccoons, but to hell with Batista.

They have the license as they have done three figures from three of the movies, but since Xavier got shelved maybe Disney only let's them do

Should change the title of this forum to "why haven't Hot Toys done X men figures" I was hoping to find info on Electro but only found complaints about DOFP.

You might be right. Of all the characters they can make from each and every X-men film, they've only done Wolverine. Back when XMO:W came out, everyone thought Victor was going to be right behind Logan. Nope. Its possible the X-men license doesn't have each actor's likeness attached to it, so it might have to be done on an individual basis and they might feel only Hugh Jackman is worth going after. Them getting so far on Prof X and then never releasing him is certainly odd. Surely all the R&D done on him would warrant just pushing it through production at least if they didn't have any license issues. Clearly the demand was/is there for more figures

But I still can't figure out why we're getting not only Electro but Rhino from ASM2 and never got a Lizard
