I don't know what the deal is with Hot Toys and X-Men. They can make Wolverine figures but nobody else? So weird.

You say that like any X-Men movie has been about ANYONE but Logan...

TBH I've enjoyed almost all of the X-Men films but the only figure that would've been an instant purchase for me was Magneto from First Class. It's the closest to a comic accurate costume we've seen.

TBH I've enjoyed almost all of the X-Men films but the only figure that would've been an instant purchase for me was Magneto from First Class. It's the closest to a comic accurate costume we've seen.

I just feel the movies would be better if they were able to either have wolverine take a back seat or get rid of him for a movie or two.

The problem with that imo is that nobody has owned their role in the films more than Hugh Jackman. I think Fassbender and McAvoy are doing a great job now, but before First Class nobody else was good enough to be the lead in the films.

A lot of that has to be in the writing.
Wolverine-centric episodes are always going to make him stand out.

After re-watching it recently i feel like the balancing was great and the focus was on the team in the first movie. The second one had a Wolverine centered story but it was the best of the franchise imo.

As far as the Wolverine solo-film goes, he's one of the few X-men that can have a solo film. That's why even though Gambit is my favorite X-Men character, the idea of a Gambit solo films scares the hell out of me.

I think If Bryan Singer had continued on, the first 3 films would be mentioned with the best movie trilogies ever.
