There are a lot of girls dressed up who are there with BF/GFs A lot get convinced to dressed up by the other half some still going with them but you would also be surprised how many are really into the characters that they dress up as. You can thank all the comic book movies for getting peoples attention. Sure there are some who just want to get fawned over but I dont get that. If this was in middle of no where where there arent hot chicks all over the place i could see it but really you could find chicks hotter then 99% of the girls dressed up jut walking around SD. Honestly the hottest chick I saw all weekend had nothing to do with the con really she just happened to work as waitress.

Yeah, this is wot The Mike was saying. But some of these girls just have the air of "pro" about them. Some of them, if you look around the costume, have all the earmarks of some who gets paid to put on sexy clothing... for whatever reason. I see prison tatoos.

Some are there as eye candy for booths but most of them are not working. They aren't handing anything out, they are walking around the con on their own so I really doubt they are working.

Yeah, I'm feel opposite, I've seen conventions that come to my town and just get hot girls from dance clubs or "escort services" to walk around. They look like some hot girl that just loves toy trains. But I agree that there are some there that just love comics or at least the attention, I just think that those cases are the girls that aren't so exceptionally hot or have had breast augments...

It seems like you were standing about 20 or so feet away from where I was at, had you stuck around you probably would've gotten one.

Hah! But girls in clothes in 'normal' situations are always a bigger attraction than the porn pretense where you know they are just going get naked get blasted. I guess it is the need to 'conquer', or at least discover. I'm in a commited relationship anyways so I am officially neutered, I just haven't had the heart to tell my old fellah about it. He wouldn't listen anyway, i get the impression that after I die he will just detach from my body and go on about his business.

you gotta remember that this is the largest convention of it's kind in the world and Hollywood is a major force there now, so the idea that a bunch of really hot chicks dressed up are there just to be there is not out of the question.

There are some major players there and that's the one convention where a "beauty" could possibly be discovered. Now as you were saying if this was a hot chick at a toy train convention then you could say "pro"

Until you've been to Comic Con you have no idea how big it is or the type of people that go to it.
