Well I started collecting almost a year ago (December '09) and I currently have 13 and 3 more paid for and 1 I'm going to pay for in the next week or so (Ghost Rider). So 17 in one year...not bad for starting a collection.

Other than HT's I own a SS Vader...excellent figure. The rest of any SS figures I have owned I've sold. Just don't compare in quality IMO and if I'm paying as much as these 1/6 figures cost...they better be worth every penny.

I started collecting 4th Qtr. of 2008, so between then and the year of 2009 I have collected 12 Hot Toys. For the year 2010 I have purchased 34 more Hot Toys as of August. By Sept. to the end of the year I will have added 16 more to my collection for a total of 62. That is including duplicates, but is not including truetype figure bodies.

I am relatively new to these types of figures and have only bought the Terminator figure from Hot Toys so far, but their work is fantastic. Everything is really nicely done, but I can't splurge like some of you guys. Any money I do get I try to save up for my rent or to buy materials to make my own figures, but I can see why Hot Toys is the best at these types of figures.

in about 4 months I've gotten around 5-10 hot toys, and not counting the rest of figures of other companies I buy, as well as the ones I bash.

Wow!! Nice collection!I have only one HT The Wolverine Origins. I plan on trying to stick to Movie Super heroe Characters. But honestly i dont think will happen love the terminator franchise! Along with many other movies.

I started collecting HT in 2009; bought 2 figures then plus 3 in 2010 so the 1-5 option suits me best!

I collect based on characters I love. I've been collecting for about 2 and a half years and so far I only have 3: Alien's Kane, Iron Man Mk I, and Iron Man Mk II.

I'm thinking of getting Mk IV eventually, but that might be the last one unless they pick up another license that I can't live without. I almost got Wolverine but I couldn't justify the price for what is essentially a bare bones figure, no matter how kick-ass he looked! And I didn't dig his Origins 'do.

And I may get the Giger Alien if I ever come across a good deal on it.

Yeah, I voted 5-10, then realized I picked up about 5 Hot Toys figures over the last 3 weeks. I buy and sell so frequently that I don't really keep track. I guess my better answer would be that I have a gross gain of about 10 Hot Toys figures per year. . .but that's probably an under-statement, as well

OK--I plan at the outset on getting about 10 per year. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I have nothing on preorder right now since I don't want any of the HT figures at the sideshow website. I might eventually get the Col. Landa but that might be it.

I only have the Watchmen figures at this point, because Watchmen is the only license they have/had I have any passion for.

I don't collect based on company or any kind of "cool" factor - I have to love the property and/or the character.

Hot Toys figures are awesome to look at, but they mean nothing to me if I'm not into the property.
