How many pets is too many?

AND we're back to Zoe being sick. Jenn is on her way home so we can take her to a different vet. She had Rabies Vaccination today and has done nothing but shake and bite herself. She can't rest/sleep because she's freaking out. Pray for my baby!

Sounds like she might have a few allergies. Prayers for her!

Poor kid, you know? The mess after her surgery, and now this. She's so tiny and truly a sweet little girl. I feel so bad for her.

The good news is the new vet we took her to today gave her a steroid shot to help control her immune system. And it worked. Shortly after, she stopped twitching, ate some food, and went to sleep. When she woke up, she was playful and back to normal. I am so happy.

It doesn't seem to matter that we have just had $1000 in vet bills. It doesn't weight heavy on our minds because they are our babies. So it needs to be done. I'm just thankful that she is okay!

Next up on our list...Bailey-Reed needs surgery to remove his benign tumor.

You have to do what you have to do. If you can't afford to take care of problems, you shouldn't have them. I get so upset when I hear of people putting animals down simply because of expense. And the expense isn't that much to begin with. I could never do that.

Oh definitely. I don't like when people put pets down because they just don't want to bother.

My pets are my family, and I sure wouldn't put my human family down just because of illness, etc.

Zoe is doing great now. So thank God to that.
