What happened before was someone who was NOT me created a design using art from the Sideshow website that was of a licensed product. I got permission from SSC for him to do this to make a t-shirt. Another person who was still not me then went to cafe press and had the design put on every conceivable object they sell - from thongs to lunchboxes and sold them himself with nothing come back to the board or Sideshow. That's when I got the cease and desist.

I'm not sure that Freakboard products would be worthwhile for generating income for the board. I think it's more special if it's a rare thing like these tshirts.

Interesting....It goes without saying that I would go through the proper channels. Plus the only thong I would make would be for P!tu. :lol:whip

I am down. I would do lanyards, hoodies (black, only), T-shirts (short and long sleeve, preferably with pockets), or bandanas.

Edit - Oh, yeah...stickers would be cool as well...especially if they had user names on them (yes, I know that might be a little much).

Front shirt said "Sideshow Freaks" and the back would have your username and the number of the year when you become a member. Just an idea.

That's a cool idea. May be more expensive to do individual shirts thought.

I would have to say "Nope, not a chance", Keith. But only because you came up with the idea and you dissapointed me and hurt my feelings :monkey2

t shirts would be pretty cool.

I did let you down big time. McHayck even asked me if I remembered to bring it at one point. :monkey2

Make them Ltd Ed then :)

I would totally be in for a numbered t-shirt, even if it was a little expensive :)

I like Gondor Girls idea as well. That is something like what I had in mind. Obviously we all collect different items and I would hate to exclude anyone. Nor do I want to have to worry about licensing stuff other than asking Sideshow's permission to use their logo with our Freaks logo attached. The hat idea I am also fond of. Just a simple hat with Sideshow's and our logo on the from maybe offset a little to the left or right. If I get at least 50 votes for yes I will start the research process. I am thinking of something small to start of like 25 items or so. After that I guess we will see. Once I get 50 votes I will work with Dave through PM to see about how funds would be given to both the boards and Sideshow. I also need to find the cheapest place possible to put this together while still keeping the quality high.

So do you think 50% of us are full of ^^^^ or do you want to see us fight over it? :lol

Can I get an option on #1 then :banana:banana:banana:banana :lol :lol :lol

But seriously, nice one BM for trying to get this off the ground, I think if they were small runs with limited availability then they would work really really well :rock Make it all a bit special y'know? :)

Am I the only one who would be tempted by a signed edition with Dave's sig on it? :lol

I am thinking of shelling out my own money to purchase these items. So I want to make sure people actually buy them. :lol

So it's the first one then. :lol Yeah, I'd say 50% sounds about right for the percentage of us who are full of ^^^^. :rotfl
