I'm not sure that's quite true that anyone should blame women for all of these issues, but I have to say that I find that modern feminism, at least in the "western" world and female rights advocates often, IMHO, make policy stances and choices without considering the long term impact.

The "western" family unit is one now of broken homes. Many families are divorced now and blended families and broken families and single parent families are now the norm, not the exception. It was modern feminism that pushed for "in locos parentis" which is Latin for " in place of the father " which became a legally punitive method in which single adult males dating single mothers could potentially be held liable for child support for non biological children depending certain benchmarks. It's also one of the reasons why Canada has one of the highest rates of single mothers in the world ( Their legal litmus is benchmarked at 6 months of cohabitation) Men have been dragged into court and children's drawings have been submitted showing "Daddy" or "new Daddy" and the State, happy to have a couple of kids off of the system, begins to use the adult male a surrogate social welfare system.

Fearmongering regarding child abduction and pedophilia is mostly a feminist and western construct. 99.9 percent of adult males in America are not pedophiles looking to kidnap children in black vans and start making movies before they dump them in the river. You however would not be able to tell by the sheer amount of trepidation created by having single men in employment near young children. "Why does he want to coach Little League?" or "Why does he want to teach 1st grade?" Dealing with children is a minefield legally for any adult, but tenfold and exponentially for males.

Sexual harassment and stalking and whatnot is often socially defined by whatever the woman decides it is and usually the negative long term impact happens upon the first instance of accusation. It doesn't matter if you are guilty or not. If you are guilty, once accused, you are treated as guilty. If you are not guilty, once accused, you are treated as guilty. It's the accusation that kills. And it can kill a career path, your social network, your community standing. Most men are not stalkers, no pedophiles, not sexually harassers, not vicious and violent felons. But look at the modern workplace now - if HR hasn't told all the guys there, someone else has, over and over. Don't ask the women out. Don't make too many jokes they can take the wrong way. Don't say anything or do anything that might be taken the wrong way. If you have a meeting, don't close the door. In fact, have another woman present, or have two.

See a kid lost in a grocery store. As a guy, don't touch the kid at all like pick up the kid, stop, raise your hands, find the nearest woman, indicate to her that there is a lost child.

See a kid running around near your laptop with their juice box, and then use your hands to stop the kid from spilling their drink into your keyboard because Mommy is on her cellphone not paying attention. Now you've touched her kid. Good luck once she starts screaming hysterically at you, and demanding the cops Taser you.

Be a male school teacher, and at the end of the year, your kids in the 2nd grade want to hug you. Wait for the wrong jilted parent looking for payday to decide you hugged their kid the wrong way.

Be a youth sports coach, and it takes you 3 hours to drive everyone home because you can't be alone in a car with a child at any given point without another adult there. Well that's not true, female adult coaches can do it, it's just the guys who have to wait and take turns to make sure no one can sue them later.

There's a saying, "It takes a village to raise a child" but in the modern western world, there is no "village" Unless a child from a broken home is lucky enough to have grandfather or an uncle willing to take the time and investment to teach the boy how to be a man, who is going to do it? I'm not going to sit here and blame all women, but a lot of women out there have made adult men interacting with children into a giant legal minefield, fraught with liability and taking on concerns that most women dismiss.

Of course most women don't. They aren't held to the same standard, not even close. The power inbalance doesn't work the same.

Why would a guy want to coach youth sports or teach 2nd grade? Maybe he grew up and didn't get guidance. Maybe he did and understood how lucky he was. Maybe it's rewarding to teach a kid how to throw a curve ball or use a compass. But those answers just aren't good enough.

Here's what modern feminism IMHO hasn't figured out. You can't power play each interaction with men and children and not have some fallout and cost. If you want to beat adult men over the head at every single point, then accept the trade off, that now there is no one left to blame when no one wants to teach little Johnny how to be a man and how to hit a curveball. You can't take and demand everything down to the last letter and fine print and flip our culture into one that's apprehensive about the next lawsuit and then wonder why no one wants to deal with you and your kids.

Wayward poorly socialized and entitled children with little to no guidance is exactly the kind of family unit that consumer driven modern feminism wanted. You wanted the stew to look like this? Well now it's time to shut up and get a big spoon. You ladies cooked it, now you get to eat it.

Nope. I prefer the classics. As I said: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby Darin, Benny Goodman, Elvis, Johnny Cash, John Coltrane, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, and others. That being said, I like my fair share of "long haired hippie music" as well, I'm just not big into metal.

While the article blames women, ask who made women's behaviour change? If you look at many of today's sitcoms the guys are portrayed as idiots while th women are self dependant and deal with the ordeals of life..just one thing that is changing the mentality of people there are many more.....
While I've never been in a fly or fight situation as an adult as a teenager I was put I that situation a few times...... I chose fight and the aggressors backed off each time....
As an adult I chose only to hang around people of good moral standing (to the modern society these may be seen as bad aggressive people). These are the people who will hold their ground , who will back what they say and will only give in if proven wrong. One of these people was recently invited by 3 car jackers to call upon fight or flight he chose fight and won
