How would you like your Chewie?!?

Sorry LOTRFan, I was only thinking about the 1/6 figure... I would imagine that it might be a **little** easier to get realistic looking fur in 1/4.

I'm in the camp with "furred" Chewbacca.

It won't be perfect, and there are numerous problems packing a furry Chewie so his hair doesn't get shaped in weird ways, but a sculpted Wookie just wouldn't have the same appeal. It may look perfect in its primary pose, but what happens when you raise the arm and the hair flow goes against gravity? Or the "rubber" body tweaks in places?

Honestly, there are as many problems with a sculpted or "rubber" body suit version as there is with a haired version. The plus for the furry one is that you can comb out and futz the hair to make it look correct. Just like futzing clothing, 'grooming' Chewbacca is just part of the fun of having this figure.

I really don't mind... C'mon Sideshow, you know this year is Star Wars A New Hope 30th Anniversary... we need Chewie in Premium Format form as Han, Luke, Leia and Obi Wan are so lonely without their furry and I mean "FURRY" Friend. Please Sideshow make :chew Premium Format Figure with real fur.

Wor-Gar's custom Chewie is the best I've ever seen. So, instead of hoping that SSC will make a 1/6 Rancor, I'll be wishing for a descent Chewie from SSC.

You know, if sideshow can't pull off a furry Chewie in 1/6 scale due to mass that's somewhat understandable. But if they can't make a 1/4 scale chewie with fur than I am going to be really mad.

No, I know. I definately want him made in the PF and with fur. :chew Hopefully something exotic, like off of the endangered list.

What's a diaroma? I would say that IF they could make the fur look as good as that custom thats what I want but if not then a sculpted would be better than a half ass real fur.

I would hope it wouldn't go past $150... which would seem reasonable with a larger body and all the inherent work of a furred figure. But in all honesty, a collection of SW isn't a collection w/o Chewie... so I'd pay (pretty much) whatever it cost
