As far as I understand insofar, ABC-Express hasn't actually cheated anybody by canceling an order and relisting it at a higher price, right?

holy crap guys, i never stated that they relisted the item for fact, notice the "?" in the post... like creecher said, theve stated their policies clearly and have the right to cancel orders. besides theyr supply from ht probably DID get cut down. who knows? It was just bothered that my order was cancelled. . but hell, nothing i can do about it now.

I've been browsing ABC's store periodically for the past couple of months and haven't seen any Wolf Preds listed since December. I find it unlikely they'd cancel people's orders just so they could relist them for higher prices... they wouldn't stay in business very long if they started doing that, would they?

It sucks they couldn't fulfill the whole order, but there's no reason to suppose they're trying to screw anybody.

well from what I have seen guys the only thing worth getting is the wolf from HT.

After seeing the AVP elder diorama in a store in toronro I decided not to get the AVP-R DIO.
It looked like a mcfarlane dio so I think the AVP-R dio will be the same thing.
I will stick to the 1/6 model kits.
The P2 Ht is my first Ht figure and I was really Impressed with the figure.
as soon as the WOLF arrives I will have pics and video review up on the board.
Lets hope he looks cool.

Cuts do happen so I wouldn't be so hasty in bashing abcExpress. My local dealer ordered 10 battle-damaged P2's and he only received 4.

ABC has the right to cancel orders as they see fit. I didn't realise the ? in the post had so much significance either. My first thought was what a ridiculous excuse. To me it looks like Hot Toys is over extending themselves, past the hype. They ought to know who their distributors are and afford them an allocation that Hot Toys themselves can adhere to, rather than let them take advance pre-orders that they can't meet. The steam is building and Hot Toys have to keep up with the heat. I'm used to Sideshow and their accepted responsibilities. Hot Toys aren't at the top of the game yet.

Awww that's disappointing. I was set on buying the AVP-R diorama. It looked so awesome and dynamic from the online photos. But I'll wait on final judgement until I see in hand pics. (I don't have a local shop to see new releases on display)

I'm sure Hot Toys just underestimated the initial orders and they're already lining up to do a second production run of the figures much like they did with most of the figures they made (like the recent Supes 2-in-1...first round shipped already, second round is due out soon).

Some amazing shots of Wolf and Co... Predalien looks awesome, almost tempted to get it again. I cancelled it after seeing the movie...

dammit grange, pictures like those are ones that make me want a figure. Those ones actually make him look alot better then some of the older ones that I saw. Maybe after I finish off with Hudson, Hicks Head, RPD Leon, some SSC Preorders, I can try my hands at getting wolf.

Seeing that new pred body makes me think that I wouldn't mind one bit if HT decided to design the Alien xeno with that type of body instead of their rubbery type... the joints are quite well hidden, it looks sturdy as hell and poseability is very good.
