I unsubscribed from this thread and wasn't going to return till October. Then just decided to just see if anything new had been posted. Man, would of suck if I missed out on the PPO next Friday.

I guess part of that credit goes to us as well, who made them the Goddamn Batman's fan recently

With all the rhetoric and melodrama around the new release, people start believing that, "Whoa! Everybody's going crazy about it, this must be the definitive Batman figure I should get!" Even if I am not the Greatest Batman fan, still I would like to get it.

Lets face it, atleast once we have all bought a figure/statue just because it was the talk of the town. But nowadays, it is majorly because of the quality that is being offered, imo. Example, I was never a fan of Jack Sparrow. Yes I liked the character a lot but to own him as a 1/6 figure along with my superheros was something I never imagined. But today, passing on the DX Sparrow will be one of the stupidest mistakes I'd ever commit in my life!

No you won't. Don't even buy it if all you're thinking about is flipping it. Let someone who would actually enjoy the figure buy it.

i would definitely enjoy this figure. but i know i would like a DX02 better which aint gonna happen. I don't want much more than what i would pay for, just enough to buy a better(TDK style) version if there is. otherwise i would keep it.

I made some comparison shots for myself. I find there is a slight difference in the HS between the proto and the actual release but I can't quite put my finger on it. Here it is in case one of you want to see it:

Here's a thought: Save up for a DX TDK or wait for one if a new one comes out. As a matter of fact there are a lot of swell guys on this site who will take payments.

I think there were always been a lot of Batman fans. I think they are starting to find out about Hot Toys now. I've always liked Batman but I just found out about Hot Toys 8 months ago. I missed out on all the first release. The sculpt has improved alot in a very short time. I'm all about the sculpt!

If the sculpt was the same like 5 years ago I will not be buying Hot Toys.

Actually, you're right. I got that mixed up with the browser's options. Just make sure your username and password are saved in your browser's options so all you have to do is hit "submit" come PPO time.

sorry mate, but im going to agree with other people about this, if you're planning on selling this figure maybe a year after getting it, don't buy it, its already a really limited edition and people are desperate to get their hands on one, let someone else buy it who's going to keep indefintely

Y'know with this and the joker Dx 2.0 announcement, HT is really smart they are pumping people up again for batman for TDKR, so fans will get hooked and lap up every TDKR figure.

Don't be a greedy prick, others want the figure too, getting you "wife" one isn't neccessary, and in this case you are directly taking out of another's hand, a hand that won't have one let alone two.
