Honestly though, I think that HT and other companies presenting certain items as exclusives is their way of promoting the conventions. (I.e. if you visit us at Ani-Com, you'll have the opportunity to purchase any or all of these items.)

I think it's their way of getting attention at the conventions. "Come to my booth and pick up my exclusive you fanboy _____es! You know you can't live without it!"
