I can't understand how people can not see Ledger's Joker in this new sculpt...

I have the DX01 (currently on ebay) and I think this new sculpt already blows the old one away, expression or not this one is a better representation of the character...

I have no regret at all for throwing my DX01 on ebay, I never cared for the cop joker and I really only need one version of the character... if he does have the table and chair that's a much better trade for the cop gear IMO.

That was one thing that always kept me from buying DX01 at the $400+price point. I wouldn't have even taken the cop stuff out of the box.

I like the sculpt :dunno. The side-look photo was an odd choice, I'm excited to see more pictures.

I was curious about comparing these two sculpts, so am posting in case others are, as well. From a similar angle:

Sculpt looks like a combination of the best parts of the DX and the BR. I like the expression they chose -- offbeat, but not too weird, and different enough that it isn't a rehash.

Reminds me of the jailed pictures ...

I'm seriously considering ordering a third Joker.

What I can gather from this thread so far is that people are upset with the headsculpt but mostly because of the lack of rooted hair. Is that correct?

Not only that they keep comparing this sculpt to custom sculpts .

Can't speak for others as I haven't been reading through this whole thread but I think it looks great, of course it could have been better with rooted hair but this will do just fine.

Rooted hair looks ridiculous. HT would've lost me if they had gone that route. I ain't a hair stylist.

Neither am I. My only experience with it was my T-1000 Sarah Connor and I sent that broad packin. :D

Still, some of the customs with rooted hair do look cool.

From the backlash the nice Black Widow figure has, that would be a incorrect fact.

The first one looks awesome. The second one just looks like somebody glued thread onto his head.

I never could understand those people. They claim they have one of a kind head sculpts, claim they're better than mass produced, we've read years of it, so why are they getting worked up over an inferior sculpt that they claim all their customs are one of a kind and so rare. Why even bother to participate, after all they have one of a kind no matchable head sculpts. We've already seen arguments from it.

It's the only time you really see them really participate in the DC section, when it has Ledger or Joker in the name or something related down those lines.

They have their masterpieces, their dream is fulfilled, so why vent about something thats mass produced and not to their liking. Is it really that hard?

They look fine, I guess. Wonder how it'd look mass-produced, boxed, shipped across the globe ... and styled by a guy, like me, that has trouble giving his 6yo daughter a ponytail that doesn't look completely retarded.

No thanks.

I'd rather not have to primp my action figures every morning because their mane doesn't deal well with Houston humidity. I'm going for set-it-and-forget-it collectables.
