Theres not that much damage difference between the two either.

Besides its not a matter of difference, its the fact to give the collector TWO full displays with the character over just one. Much like they did with the DX01 DX04 and DX07.

DX 08 Joker was only a head, tie and hat away from a brand new look (museum) and hot toys didn't include it. Why do it here? Seems unnecessary when the difference is a coat a blazer and gloves that are already included.

What Im saying is its the same fatigues. It doesnt need to be a whole new costume to warrant a second figure/set of clothes.

As for Dx08 Joker, HT knows they can milk the 1989 Joker so we will be seeing that as a future release. Unlike here where theyve already milked Ledger Joker to death so they are going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at us to entice us to buy yet another Ledger Joker

I think the Joker 2.0 will have thinner arms than a TTA

Those of us that have Kato's outfit had to sand down the TTA biceps and triceps to get a perfect fit on the outfit, and that is pretty much as close to Ledger's physique as any body out there.

Still not feeling the jacket as it was when it was $300 a pop. Reminds me of the Medicom that looks like a hard coarse towel. It's supposed to be smooth like velour just like Jack's Joker.

The children will probably come out with haters gonna hate response crap no doubt.

The custom folk talk about quality and the fabric looks like a rough purple material that doesn't look premium. Harues material looked better.

Is that the difference between the Advanced TT and the others? I always wondered because I don't own one but I never thought it looked buff. I thought that was for the muscular TT.

Yeah but you guys paid a lot for stuff that he personally went and tailored. He pretty much designed this new one for mass production. The level of construction is not going to be exactly the same.

I guess so. But I don't think that analogy works perfectly. You don't often see painters do the same painting over and over and over. Almost closer to Andy Warhol producing his own prints vs. doing the original work himself and hiring someone else to do the re-printing duties. I'm sure that the handmade quality of it appeals to some, though. Possible the factories won't be able to provide that same level of quality.

Yea I know but didn't think HT would actually go and put him on a TTA instead of taking the easy way and putting him on a Narrow. I think a figure hasn't been on a TTA for awhile. It's been a narrow or the wolverine styled muscle body

It's too rough looking for a small scale regardless how it feels in your hand. You're not supposed to see a texture from a distance. The smoothness is supposed to wash out to your eyes, until you're right up close to it.

Jack's Joker was nailed in that department.

Well we won't know how close/good the HT factory output of Kato's designs will be until we have them in hand and can compare side by side, but I think they'd be pretty close.

For me the coolest thing is that this shows that some of the best customs we have on these boards are truly pushing the boundaries for the hobby in general, and the likes of HT do look at the customs and do treat customs as part of their competition when it comes to achieving realism and screen accuracy, that's a pretty cool thing if you ask me.

Funny you guys are saying Ledger's body was more like a TTA, yet as I recall the narrow shoulder body was basically developed for Ledger's Joker.
