Dude, it was said forever ago that the Nurse Joker isn't happening. It's been posted several times. And I don't know what is "bizarre" about improving on things.

I missed reference to Nurse Joker. I admit I don't follow the Hot Toys Joker threads religiously. My bad.
I find it bizarre just because a) its Hot Toys admiting that a customizer does better work than they do which I haven't personally seen them do before (nice compliment to Kato though) b) its a dangeous game because the factory will not get anywhere near his quailty anyway, so I think they're setting themselves up for a backlash. Is the end result really going to be that much better than the 1st DX ?

I think we have a decent chance of getting two heads. And, yeah, your pics would be the best. His make up at the most F'd up and at the neatest. If that could be considered neat.

Those would be my picks as well. But I'm more concerned about the hair to be honest. I feel HT never got that right. Closest would be BR Joker or maybe even the V1 Joker.

I think if they do the layered sculpted hair like Thor it could look good

I'm hoping for switch out faces a la Sparrow. Smiling Joker would be nice, and a more sinister looking one. Not sure which scenes they would best come from.

Switch out faces would be cool but if interrogation scene is one of the looks then the hair there has to be a fair bit shorter than the mob scene or the final battle scene for example

Well, I'll take your word for it. This figure really should be pretty damn screen accurate considering that that's the whole point (as V1 and DX-01 are so flawed in that department), so if that means different hair styles or whatever, then that's what they should do IMO.

Or maybe it was Heaths last scene he had to shoot before he died?

I dunno. Maybe theres more to the story that Nolan knows and associates that scene with Ledgers death.

The only thing I didn't like about the DX01 was the wayward shirt collar and tie. But I do prefer the worn velvet overcoat material to the coarser looking custom.

I'll almost certainly be getting the 2.0, but can't imagine ever selling the DX01.
