It's too rough looking for a small scale regardless how it feels in your hand. You're not supposed to see a texture from a distance. The smoothness is supposed to wash out to your eyes, until you're right up close to it.
Jack's Joker was nailed in that department.
That is pretty nifty, and I'm glad HT is taking notice. I'm all for the best quality figures I can get.For me the coolest thing is that this shows that some of the best customs we have on these boards are truly pushing the boundaries for the hobby in general, and the likes of HT do look at the customs and do treat customs as part of their competition when it comes to achieving realism and screen accuracy, that's a pretty cool thing if you ask me.
Well we won't know how close/good the HT factory output of Kato's designs will be until we have them in hand and can compare side by side, but I think they'd be pretty close.

You touched it. . .with your bare hands??Yes, I know what you're saying but I think at the end it was a trade off between smoothness of the look and softness to touch, to give it the feeling of a winter coat. In hand it has a really soft, realistic feel to it.

I figured the hardcore Ledger fans all wore black gloves like this guy when handling their figure:

. . .and play that techno music while doing so.
I must say void, you have an extremely good attitude for someone who shelled out for Katos original suit. It's cool. And, yeah, it's awesome HT is taking notice. Like I said before once someone has a good idea, t doesn't matter who, all other companies follow and the product we buy gets better.

Yes. Because advertising something as 'its the same as the others but we're going to try and match that customizer named Kato!' seems bizarre to me.
They cant and wont to Nurse Joker. Nolan, I guess, feels its disrespectful.

why is it disrespectful?
Nolan dressed Ledger as a clown wearing purple
And I can't imagine why. I've even thought hard about it and still can't think of why it would be disrespectful.
