Why is everyone displaying the hat crooked on the head like a '30s gangster?

Is it to hide the face more? :dunno

Everyone? These don't look crooked to me.

I have really been deliberating about picking this up also. The Reeve Superman and Ford's Jones are the iconic roles for me. Such a shame this head sculpt has not been as fine tuned a result as the Reeve. Certainly in some pics it looks passable as Ford but in others it looks more like a stunt double. The bottom lip looks bee stung which is not helping the likeness among other things. A couple of the figures in the customisation thread look superb and they are pushing me to pull the trigger on this and do the work to get it looking how I want. BUT, the already high retail price and the cost of upgrades would easily push this out to a $500 figure. Frustrating for those collectors who want to capture the definitive Ford from Raiders in a scale figure.

What's this paper clip thing I keep hearing about? Is it like the trick on the T-800?

A straightened paperclip is run under the collars of the shirt/jacket. A picture tutorial might be helpful though. I could really use one for the map room turbin. That thing is just... frustrating!

Sounds like it, then.

UPS fellow just dropped mine off. Had a quick go-round. Overwhelmed is the word. There's so much stuff in that box, I'll have to go through and play this weekend. First thing I did was strip him nude, HI-O!!! Never gotten one of these muzzle bodies before, I had to see what the big deal was.

No, actually scratch that, the first thing I did was play with the PERS. hehe.

My muzzle body. . . it seems like the neck is tilted to the left, I can see that the actual neck cup is in inserted crooked but I can't seem to budge it. How do these muscle bodies work?? Isn't it just a regular neck adapter with a PVC shell over it?? It seems like I should still be able to move the neck a bit.

Toylion what is the secret to wrapping the turbin?

The trick is....find ref...

A little force, the neck will move. My was stuck fast too. Just be careful.

I have been freeze-framing the DVD and no matter what I just can't get mine to look like that.

Looks really good there in the map gear getup.

Thanks. :hi5:

Toylion what is the secret to wrapping the turbin?

What I did was un-sewed the part that hangs down and around his neck, let's call it a scarf for lack of a better name. Then I wet the turban and the scarf, place the turban on his head so the roll was at the front. Then I placed the 'scarf' over the top and draped it around his neck with a little twist. After it dried I re-sewed it in a few place to hold it. Especially at the back so I didn't have to tuck it into his collar.

It just seems to work better when it's in two pieces. They seemed to have just sewn it in the weirdest places.
