So Kuzeh, what's your opinion on the Sovereign Jacket, you think it's better. What do you think of the Sovereign jacket I used on mine. I'm curious

Looks good dude!!
At first I wasn't sure, but after futzing it and adjusting it to look right, I think it looks way better IMO!

Got rid of my guyliner....

You said DON'T scrape it with an exacto? Did you just paint them?

I think he sanded them?

No, I did use an exacto, and unless your very delicate you end up tearing into the vinyl eyelid because its so thin. I did, slight, and, yes, then had to lightly sand. I recommend sanding if you have the tool anyway. Then I also mixed a little paint wash and went over the bottom eyelid to smooth it out. All my trouble was on the right eye. Left eye went fine.

So if I just use sandpaper, I won't have to paint? Or will I have to paint anyways?

Well what were you going to use?

If the sand paper is fine enough and you are careful, you should be able to just lighten what's there. But if you go to far, then the only way back is paint.

Or you could just use paint to start. That's what I should have done. It's such a miniscule area. Doesn't need crazy surgery.

Wor-Gar,
Would you say that the risk is worth it ?, also, do you have any really clear before, during & after pics of the head ?.

Worth it? Depends how much the eyeliner bothers you. I found it to be a distraction enough to take the risk. And this is my first PERS system, so I have no idea what I'm doing. I followed Cavlcade's instructions dutifully.

The pics I took right before surgery are too blurry, but here's some older ones that show the guyliner:

It's one of those things, if people hadn't mentioned it I may never have really noticed... but you do see the difference.

I'm on the fence about this one. I don't want to buy this only to have Hot Toys bring out another one with a better sculpt next year. I swear if that happens I will never buy another hot toy ever!

thats my debate every pic i see the more i like it

:lol Hope not. I blame Cavlcade.

Here's a before-and-after to pass around... roughly the same lighting...

Thank you.

I say just repaint the lower eyelid. That's the easiest way. There's various ways to remove paint; scraping, something called 'goof off', sanding. I guess whatever you feel most comfortable doing.

I used an exacto. If I had it to do over, I would skip that part and just use touch-up paint.

I'm going to try flesh tone touch up paint, scraping is too risky, but still thinking about it hmmm.:r2d2line

What color did you use? did you mix your own or just standard flesh tone?

On statues you can remove weathering with a pencil eraser. Would that be possible here?
