And just for fun, SR and JR. I have a WWII German Motorcycle with Sidecar I wanted to shot these in. But my garage is just like the warehouse they put the Ark in. :rotfl

Love the Professor Jones look.

Would be great if they release a Last Crusade DX that has a Professor outfit (since he did wear that for all the Venice scenes) as well as the standard Indy gear with tie.

All of these great in-hand shots, are keeping me inspired to pose and mess with my Indy, lovin' my Indy fig!... really awesome stuff here guys keep it up! Makes me keep checking things out here to see what cool new stuff is posted. :clap

No, it looks really good! I have the paperclip going on mine but I;d say your pic is the best I've seen of the jacket so far!

Here's my Indy as of today, with a few mods...

The overall look is great, but what bugs me a little is that the bottom lids looks like it has little cracks in them , I don't know if it's from the scraping or the paint mix you used. I think I'm going to try touch up paint and no scraping or sanding. Sorry as a hobby, I sculpt and paint a lot of model kits, resin, plastic, vinyl, etc. I've used alot of different techniques before in mods for my kits, I think just using touch up paint should work, maybe a little drybrush, I'll have to experiment. Still great work you did.:clap

So, you scrape the bottom of the eye lid? I wonder if rubbing alcohol (91% Isopropyl) would work on a toothpick? This really worked out well Wor-Gar. :dunno

Thanks very much.

I'm not sure what cracks guyver sees but I definitely would recommend just repainting the lids and NOT SCRAPING. Feel like a broken record because I keep saying just repaint it but people keep coming to me and saying 'why did you scrape'? :lol

So, scraping is bad. Painting is good.

Guyver, where do you see 'cracks'? If so, I'd like to get rid of them.

Not everybody reads the post, it seems. Guess a lot like to just look at the pictures. I see it on other threads all the time, people asking the same questions over and over. :dunno

Thanks Flosi, I am having lotsa fun messing with Indy. I'll try not to take anymore pics until my mfisher rig arrives and I get that on him.

I was just gonna suggest a toothpick dipped in acetone and rub it over the paint gently.

I was the first guy to do this mod when people were telling me I was crazy and the guyliner was shadow only (it's not)

War Gar did a great job here, he suggests painting which I agree. I was never steady enough with a brush, I used the method you did. a toothpick dipped in goof off. then i went and touched up the odd spot that got too white. overall. massive improvement. Everyone should so it.

Hey Raymond! Yes, it was you -- I mentioned someone who used 'goof off' originally, couldn't remember it was you.

But yes, acetone, goof off, paint -- just don't scrape. I could kick myself for doing it now, for me painting would have been so easy. But I got lucky that I fixed it. Could have easily went to far and done something irreversible.

Thanks for the nod, Ray!

Hey Raymond great work,:clap, especially the third pick, What's goof off, is that like a paint remover or stripper, what did you touch it up with, flesh tone paint.

Now that's what you call a solid redux :yess: War Gar had the right idea, still a nice mod by all means, but because of the scraping, the residue showed thru in the lighting. I think i'll try that technique you used

Why do you keep saying that? What are you seeing? I'd love to know so I can fix whatever you're talking about.

Can you blow up the shot of your mod like Raymond's first pic. Please understand I'm still praising your work, you did a nice job, however there is just something I'm seeing in your mod that I need to see more closely, that I see in the shot where the light is hitting it above the lower lid, I don't know if it is a paint tone you used or a sanding residue, but I do notice something, and I need to see it expanded more than that shot, because , it could be the touch up you used, again it's hard to tell, remember you're asking me so you can possibly fix it. again, It's subtle, but I still notice it in your shot and I want to help you, if you want. But I need a bigger close up: ex: like Raymond's first pic of his mod.:dunno
