:lol

Oh no I don't need a reason to by Indy. I have too much crap to pay for as it is :lol

I'd been eyeballing Mr. Jones for awhile and just saw the thread at the top randomly, decided to check it out which was a bad move since I saw Cr0w's Indy which totally made this seem like a no brainer purchase :lol

I know he comes with a lot but the price is still the main thing holding me back on this so idk

Yea I've been on the fence about this fig for a while. It's awesome overall in a lot of ways but it's not perfect out of the box and that's what held me back. I thought that I saw other peoples repaints besides cr0w's a few months ago but haven't been able to dig them back up.
So I'm searching for capable hands. I'm thinking of just grabbing it before its too late and sooner or later I'll find someone with the skills to take on the job.

you could always ask Skiman. not sure is he's had his hand at this DX Indy yet but he definitelty has ver capabkle hands at paint at or even better level than HT

excellent. people who say that this doesnt look like harrison ford are totally kidding themselves. in certain lighting i find that he is spot on to ford. im pretty sure some people here need to get there eyes checked if they seeing someone else other then ford here. its obvious HT got it right. not that it cant be improved, but if they never made another indy that will never bother me as this is near perfect.

Yea of course there's a bunch of super talanted guys here. I have to look around to see who had experience in doing the HT Indy. I'd like to see final pics of how theirs came out. I'll take it to anyone who can make it look like that!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

are people really trying to convince them selves HT's got this Indy right? Geez. Some of you have gotten Indy much better by repaints and what not but for $250 what we got straight out of the box wasn't worth the price we paid.

plus for the price we should have gotten two head sculpts....Jack Sparrow has two great sculpts for less price....They kept us in the dark for a long time on this sculpt and then just released it. Hopefully the 2.0 will be much better and in the ball park of what Crow accomplished...

This is very good work. But it's nothing like what we got from Hot Toys. Nice work Crow. How much would you charge to duplicate that from my Hot Toys Indy head?

I don't take commissions, unfortunately, on the off chance that I can't deliver what's promised. I only work on my own stuff because if I screw it up, at least it's not something someone else paid for. Unlike most people that do custom work, I tend to fly by the seat of my pants and experiment, and oddly enough it tends to turn out better than I'd hoped. It works great for me, but experimentation isn't for paying customers.

Just got mine today, the figure is fantastic. I dont care about the headsculpt rant, I just love it. Its the best factory produced 1/6 Indy one can purchase and thats all I care about now. Jewel of my collection:)

I have one of these been thinking bout selling it but after seeing some of these
Awesome displays seriously thinking about keeping it

One quick little question - My DX Indy seems to have one leg longer then the other one. No matter how I pose him, it seems the right leg is like 0,9-1 cm shorter. Is something like that even possible for a True Type body? I am sure Im doing something wrong, but what? At the moment I dont really wish to undress him and investigate. Any quick thoughts?

Have you tried grabbing both legs and vertically pushing them in opposite directions? It just sounds like the hip joints are a bit out of alignment, maybe he's got his boxers in a knot. Its also possible a boot isn't seated properly on one side. The body is pretty durable, so you don't need to be super delicate.

Thanks, mate, I inspected the boots, and the seem OK. My best guess are the hips, so I'll try what you suggested and we shall see.

Thanks swsqueakquels, I followed your advice, pulled his legs and adjusted the hip joints. SO SIMPLE and I was so frustrated yesterday! Thanks again.

Anyone hyped with the batman craziness going on might be a chance for a Indy 2.0 hopefully based off Tod.
