I posted these on OSW quite a while ago but don't think I posted them here yet, just a couple of my outdoor pics...He is a great subject matter for taking pictures with!

This backdrop would look perfect for the scene when he's holding the bazooka and is about to blow up the arc. Just sayin'.

Just got mine today from my gf for valentines day. I love it! My only gripe is the jacket collar. I'll have to glue it down or something. Also, did anyone else remove the boxer shorts? I found them annoying while adjusting the shirt and pants, so I just left them off.

:clap Congrats on Indy. I left the boxers on, but the jacket collar is a pain in the you know what.

This thread gets more traffic so I'll post here too. I fixed the collar on the shirt and cut out the lining of the jacket( top pic). As for the jacket you can't really tell but I like it.

Hello TheFiend, The jacket collar looks great, so did you sew it or glue it down to stay like that? I can't really see a difference with the jacket fit, but I am sure he can be posed easier with the extra fabric taken out. Also, the shirt collar looks a lot better as well. Nice work.

I used fabric glue. I just put a dot on the points of each collar then I put a paper clip around the around/underneath the collar so it would lay closer to the neck. About the lining, I was hoping I would get the same results as I got from my SS jacket which I also took out the lining. With that one it gave the the shoulders a more sloped look and just lat more naturally. No big difference visually with the HT jacket but it's easier to pose and it's not as bulky and stiff as it once was. I hope when I weather it I'll with out the desired look Im trying to achieve.

I would also like to know what advantage you got by removing the jacket liner. Looks great!

Thank you. As stated above it's not as stiff and bulky feeling. It feels more natural to me.

Thanks for the reply and info on the jacket. It definitely looks more like Indy's jacket now with the collar fixed. Good luck on the weathering and please post your pics when completed. :)

I glued mine down very very carefully.......

I glued mine down very very carefully.......

There is a paper clip fix that works pretty well. Straighten paper clip, then curve it around the neck area and put it under the jacket collar and pinch it into place until it looks right. Probably not as good as gluing the tips down, but less risky/permanent!

I did the same thing to mine along with the glue. :lol

Gluing the collar down only keeps the points down but doesn't do anything about keeping the entire collar form around the neck like a real jacket. I don't know if I explained that right. :lol

Carefully with very very little glue, glue entire collar all the way around. Just don't use much glue- just barely enough to stick. I could pull the collar up easily without ruining the material...

It's kind of funny how, with the SS Jacket, everyone was snipping the threads they used to tie down the collar points and, with the HT jacket, everyone is gluing them down.

Insead of glue, I used a little bit of "top stick" on each collar point to tack them down as well as using the paper clip trick.

Don't have access to any pics of mine with the collar fix here at work, will post some when I get home, but going through my older pics I thought I would post some examples of what I was saying earlier about the whole "guyliner" thing. These are all shots of the same figure, unaltered, taken in different lighting:

The first shot is closest to what I see in hand but, as you can see, lighting/flash/angle/etc play a huge part in the whole "guyliner" thing.

Got mine Friday and I think he's amazing! I'll post more thoughts and some pics later on. Had a busy weekend. I definitely think he's a bit of an underrated figure though!
