He has it during the shootout at Marion's bar, while its burning down. He switches back and forth between the revolver and automatic. Then the guy in black burns his hand with the medallion. :wink1:

Ah, nice encyclopedic knowledge :lecture

I do have a real bone to pick with Hot toys over the number of characters they do per license. I think it would help collectors decide as well which licenses they want to collect.

EVERY protagonist should have an antagonist period, then if there are supporting characters, they should be made..

For this particular movie, I'd take the melty face guy, the Ark... (memba the sideshow Ark!!!), the monkey, and the fat friend who was in like 100 80's movies... haha such nonsense I type sometimes dreaming of things HT will never make :lol

That is one of the main problems with HT. They have too much on their plate and never fully explore all the figure options for each license they acquire. They do for the big money makers like Avengers & Iron Man, but skip out on lines like The Expendables and Sucker Punch. It's too bad they just don't take a step back and complete each line, but there is too much money to be made with their current system. :( Also, it's hard to know what happens behind the scenes trying to get actors to sign off on and approving their likeness for these top quality collectibles. I am sure it's not an easy task.

I was told by my (amazing) girlfriend that she might surprise me with a DX Indy for our anniversary on March 27th. This morning she told me she ordered it for me for Valentines Day. Holy crap am I excited to finally be getting one of these!

sixth-sith... he also chooses the Browning on the scene where the Nazis board Katanga's boat and he runs off to hide.. as he is going out into the hallway you see him carrying the semi-auto

It's kind of hard to "debunk" the guyliner thing when many of us, including myself, scraped it off. We actually saw it. Let alone the numerous pictures of it.

The "guyliner" is a very quirky thing. In hand I do not see it but in most photos it is quite apparent depending on the lighting. Maybe it varies from figure to figure. I know I don't feel the need to scrape anything off of my figure but if it looked like some of the photos that have been posted I defintely would.

Quick question. Sorry if this has been asked a bunch of times but I couldnt find anything. Does the backdrop fit in a Detolf?

Jimmie is right. You need to trim it, before it will fit.
I do not believe it does.

I have a question though. Has anyone used the DX05 HS in a hitfigure body to use the map room clothes?

Is that the HT muscle body copy? I think it would work just fine if it's the body I think it is. :wink1:

Thanks guys. I really want to set up the idol scene in the Detolf if I get him. Guess I will have to do a little crafts time. :)

I had mine set up for the idol scene. Looks good to me without the backdrop. I like being able to look through my Detolf at the figures from multiple angles. IMO a backdrop would cover up some of my viewpoints.

But if you want the backdrop displayed, go for it! :duff. Just don't forget to post pics when you're done.

Just pulled the trigger on him! $200 shipped isn't bad after using points. :clap I guess I'll have a lot of posing options based on so many of the great pics I've seen here!

I finally got him in hand and he really is a great figure. My only beef is how flimsy my gun belt was.

I know I probably pulled a pit too tough to get the whip holder moved over, but the belt ripped on me. :gah:

That's the reason I contacted mfisher and will most likely buy a belt and holster from him in the future.

:horror Dam, that sucks. I guess it's the perfect excuse to upgrade though! congrats on your new Indy.

Thanks fellas! I'll definitely post pics and give my thoughts on him once I get him. I'm guessing about a week. I was so back and forth on him but I'm really glad I finally pulled the trigger. Indy is such an iconic figure and Raiders is one of my all time favorite movies so I really think he's worth it. I saw way more resoundingly positive reasons to get him than the negative ones I've seen. I definitely spent a lot of time looking at pics and watching reviews. Hey gotta spend money wisely in this hobby so may as well do homework when on the fence. :lecture:lol

Just unboxing the figure is so fun.

When I unboxed mine, every piece that came out was described as, "bad@ss". Seriously, the DX is loaded with goodies.

The hardest part will be finding how you want to pose him.
