I'll say this..in hand this figure screams Ford to me......some pics I've seen of him here are horrible-overlit, distorted messes.
Overall this is by a country mile best 1/6 Indy we are going to have for a long time till HT decides to do TOD Indy...

This figure definitely looks way better in person, no doubt about it. The best Indy hands down.

Quick question. Sorry if this has been asked a bunch of times but I couldnt find anything. Does the backdrop fit in a Detolf?

Certainly not trying to "argue" with the fine experts here... but the indy backdrop does fit in the detolf height wise... it's the bottom part where it fits together to form a square... the detolf isn't wide enough by about 2cm. So if you overlap the flaps on the bottom, and place the base over top just slightly... not need to alter anything. If you want pics I'll take some...

what new Indiana Jones owner wouldn't want this set up????

Shout out to Death's pose... I think you nailed this one buddy!

:slap So you don't have to trim to fit in the detolf? I heard differently about the width, so I apologize for the miss info. I knew height wise it would fit cause the shelves can be adjusted. Please post what you did for us to see. :wink1: Also, I used that picture for reference while doing the pose. :rotfl

Great pic there..

all that "guyliner" shadowing only appears in pics shot at certain angles because in hand you don't see it at all.

This figure got a bum rap right from the start......it is brilliant if you have one. Ford is a hard face to get right, but everyone sees different degrees of him in this HS. Matter of subjective opinion. I think the SS HS is awful but others say it is the best..so there you go.:dunno

Thanks spindrift!!! :hi5: That is one of my favorites. I took about 30 pictures and tried to choose ones that captured Ford the best, while trying to take the focus off the eyeliner look. I think I pulled it off on that one. Also, I have seen a few repaints of the SS hs and it looks pretty good with a proper paint app. The SS factory paint is horrible & was the main reason why I never bought one.

One of these days I'll try taking some Indy shots myself- a challenge to get a pic that has that "in hand" feeling:yess:

I changed the look of my Jones today....

Bo, nice break away from the normal... I couldn't figure a way to display both the figure & relic!

Still loving this figure. Looks great in natural light.

Jimmie you get any QC issues? The fig looks great... BTW

After playing it safe for over a year, I really want to try and darken this jacket, make it heavier looking and most importantly, like it's been through the jungle a couple dozen times :panic:
