I might be interested but I am pretty happy with the look of the fabric covered replacement dome I am working on.

Wonderful work. If dust builds up wrap a strip of sellotape around your finger and dab. Back to pristine condition.

BlindVoyeur, I am definitely down for this as well. I will finally be able to display my Robo Collection with pride again. So glad I didn't get rid of ED yet.

unfortunately this came out when I was in grad school so I could only afford robo, always wanted one though. Felt a little better after I herd about the problem. I hope this works and everyone gets their fix as having an unmarred ED209 has to be the one of the highlights of anyone's collection.

My ED205 dome is is great shape, but, yes, who knows for how long. This is an interesting project. Looking forward to more information.

I don't have an ED-209, but he's been my grail since I first saw pics of him, I'm just not able to afford him at the moment. I'm thinking about getting in on this just to have it in case I get one in the future (which is my goal). That way I could even get a damaged version and wouldn't have to worry about the condition.
