I'm pretty sure I know how he got the scars, but I'm curious where you're going with this, so how?

I know what you mean Surfer, once you put your heart & soul into customizing a figure, it's almost a part of you because you materialize your thoughts. Not everyone can do this, it's a skill you either have or you don't. You, my friend, have more than a skill......you have a gift. Thank you for sharing that gift. :monkey2

Thank you very much Caje. Unless I can share it with people who can appreciate it like you and others on these forums, there really isn't much point in doing it.

I hope to have more pics of this on one of my Wolf figures soon.

you got some _____kin skills!! gotta see more of you work on predators!

Thanks! I'm good with the monster details, but I wish I had Trevor Grove's talent for human heads. I just got a set of his Fifefly heads, and they are friggin' amazing! Can't wait to paint them.

BTW, Cajun, if you still want me to adjust the color on the head to match the body, send it my way and I'll do it for free. I'll just consider it as though the original project is unfinished.

Hit me up.

Outstanding work SilentSurfer. And I'm glad I read this, that instant wood stuff sounds perfect for something I'm working on. Thanks for the idea.

Ok after going through that list of your other customs, Surfer, I was wondering if anyone has asked you to repaint their Sideshow Jurassic Park Diorama. Cause that things paint job leaves much to be desired. I've been trying to work up the courage to do mine myself but have only seen one other repaint so far. I'll do my own eventually, but I'd love to see what you could do with one.

wicked skills bro. now that's what we call reconstructive plastic surgery. \m/

mad surgeon sez...the doctor is about to operate.hehe

Damn that scar is the s**t! you did some bad ass work! wish i could of got my hands on a scar custom like that!

All you need is an AVP Elder figure.

I had that piece as well. While I loved the sculpt, you're right, the paint apps disappointed me. As much as I wanted to keep it, the paint apps were enough to make me sell it. If I hadn't also needed the money and had time, I would have repainted it. I had done one of the old Horizon model kits before, so I think I could have made the dio look better. Let me know if you want me to do yours.

Hey Surfer. You know if I ever track down an Elder head for a good price, I still want that done right? I remembered asking you awhile back and you got tired of doing it. Hopefully you'll have interest in it again when I locate an elder head. :D

My original hobbyist rates no longer apply on this project, but bring it on. It's been long enough for me to forget how much of a pain it really is to convert an Elder into Scar.
