Re: HT Exclusive Wolf Predator without acid scars. Check it out.

Last thing stopping me from painting up your bust is finishing this. And I'm painting this right now.

Re: HT Exclusive Wolf Predator without acid scars. Check it out.

All the reference pics (ADI making of book among them) I have show the mandibles pretty much straight. And as long as it's that way at least part of the time in the movie, that's good enough for me. Besides, a little hair dryer action will allow them to bend inward a bit, at least for a while until they correct themselves. It's really up to Cajunsith at this point.

Head is quilled and primored. I'll post pics of that soon. Painting is next. Stay tuned.

:monkey2 I knew you could do it bro!! I trust your judgement & your skills!! :bow :duff

good job as usual surf ! i was contemplating on doing this too but I think he looks best with the acid burn...looks like the open mandibles are permanent now too...are you repainting the whole thing ? oh by the way, do you make the quils from scratch ?

Thanks all. Knowing I have your approval makes all the effort worth it. I love to share it. Thanks again.

What putty did you use?
Dizzy

Quick Wood two part putty that comes in one tube. You just pinch off a little, kneed it together, and you have about 20 minutes (give or take five) working time before it is harder than real wood, and as durable as plastic. I get it at Home Depot.

Rob

No. I anticipated wanting more quills to use to do customs in the future (which is now the present with the new Pred out), so I kept an eye on eBay for parted out quill sets from the AVP Elder figure, and bought them every time regardless of price. Doing this piece put a little dent in my supply, but I have plenty left.

I wasn't even going to quill this sculpt for Cajunsith, but I liked how well the sculpt was looking that I offered to do it for free just so I could see how good it would look.

I did finish painting it tonight aroudn 1am and took some quick pics for you to look at. I want to take really good pics of this before I send it to you, Caje.

Quilled and primed.

It's so weird to see this face without green on it. Feels like its missing something even though its actually got more.

I never realized just how small the crown of his head is compared to other breeds of Predators.

It's a whole new Predator nobody has really seen before.

Caje, if you don't mind I'm going to hand on to this over the weekend to take great pics, and so my brother can see it in person.

amazing job! looks absolutely sick. You should be proud.

Glad you fixed his eye! That was the only "plot hole" I could pick but he is perfect now. He is like a cross between The Jungle Hunter and The City Hunter!
