yeah i do agree to some extent that it is weird to release afigure in acostume that is barely seen in the movie. but ithink it will be a great looking fig if the detail is there and sculpts are right.

i iwll happily get this and save time and money on the bashed cop joker i intended.

anyone got any rough ideas of when you think it will be released and a rough price idea?? goin on the br and v1 joker id say anything from $100-150??

Pass for me, not worth the $150+ for this fig for the three seconds of screen time he gets in that outfit! I know this release was in honor of Heath ledger winning the Oscar but I would have rather had a different character like Jim Gordon in Swat Gear!! I would have Ordered that for sure!

Hmmmm. Was hoping for a Nurse joker with smiling HS. I'll get it, but I'm slightly disappointed. I want a laughing Joker HS!!!!!!

Looks pretty damn fine in that picture, might have to scope it out abit more first before I take the plunge. This along with the T4 figures is going to bankrupt me

I'm really surprised that everyone is flaming this. Last time I checked there was a thread full of people salivating about the next Joker fig from HT...

exactly...i'm probably gonna get this one depending onthe price. i didn't get the bank robber version because for some reason i like the first version better. this one looks pretty cool and i think it'll fill the gap before we get Gordon.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say not much more than $100. the Billy figure from Predator is $114 and has a lot more gear than this guy.

I think of the 2 possibilities, Nurse Joker would have been more "haha" funny, fitting for the clown prince of crime type representation, but I think the visual power of this figure will be strong. Ledger's makeup for the funeral was more frightening than his Joker makeup, the eyes were just freaky as hell, which also makes me happy this doesn't seem to be a smiling head, it looks more like it'll be and intense, focused, raging eyes head, which to me captures his portrayal. Nolan's Joker seems to carry a bitterness towards the world, even if he laughs at the world along the way of causing chaos, there's like a boling ^^^^ the world going on inside him, which is cool.

I am very surprised they actually did make this version. Great sculpt though looks like.

Guess it lends itself to some repaints.

This must be a relief to all those who built their own Nurse Joker.

I guess i just don't get the choice. I should make myself clear that I never wanted a police uniform version. Seen for 3 seconds, cool scene but more for the shock value. The Nurse Joker seemed to me to be the obvious choice because it's such a memorable scene and showed the lighter side to the character. I always loved the image of a sadistic laughing Joker that I was hoping HT would deliver one. I guess I can still hope they include two heads, but a smiling HS wouldn't make sense for the Police uniform.

What still puzzles me is, how they (Hot Toys) said... well I can't remember word for word but... something that they said this would justify for those that missed out on the iconic purple suit as well as the Bank Robber... people love the joker suit. Heck they love the face.

I do hope this comes out later after the summer as well as somebody previously said, as I really want to complete this collection... but I'm not saying no to this. I'm not really into collecting other figs. Just The Dark Knight line and Iron Man appeals to me.

HT did say if you missed out on their first 2 Jokers, a 3rd was coming. However, that's really open to personal interpretation. I, along with most, assumed some sort of half assed reissue was on the way as the promotion seemed geared towards this figure being a consolation for missing the first two. Now that we know what it is, it was either poor marketing/translation to say it that way, or HT doesn't realize that Joker dressed as a cop without makeup is not a consolation for people missing the first 2.

Its a pass for me, although it looks good. I think my interest in HT TDK reached its peak with the release of the Bat Pod. I might cancel my Two Face that I have preordered and move on to other things.

I enjoy the enthusiasm HT's put into this line, it's probably their fullest since ALIENS (for a single movie), BUT, the face that there are only 3 characters in 6 figures is a bit saddening. I enjoy those variants, but it's still dissappointing that there's no Gordon, and assuming somehow they could revisit Begins, Ra's, Scarecrow.

Full lines are nice, but full of variety, not repetition.

I agree with this. Although I would say that the Joker was the only character with different versions, and some would argue that its warranted, given the characters popularity. I guess it could be said that HT didnt need to release another version of the Begins suit, but it gave many people (me) an opportunity to get the improved version of that character.
