I figured since they've started Avengers now they would've scrapped this one and made an Avengers one in it's place.

I'm pretty sure we wont be seeing two Loki figures. Hot Toys is know for not releasing villains. We will probably only see the Thor version one. Those waiting for the Avengers version should consider the fact that there might not be one.

From what i've seen the costumes aren't too different, so this could serve both films

i've got to agree. I'm sure I've said it in either this thread, the Thor thread or both that Hiddleson's performance as Loki was the main reason I liked the movie so this figure is a MUST! more so than Redskull (for me at least)

Agreed. I think it would make more sense to try to make this a more versatile figure. Perhaps add accessories from both movies and sort of make a "2 in 1" franchise figure.

Are you saying they SHOULDN'T release all the characters as Hot Toys? If thats the case, don't you think that would make many collectors unhappy?
