Whats interesting is that the Red Skull looked to be at the same level of completion than Loki and USO Cap. And that was up for PRe-Order month ago.

Are you saying they SHOULDN'T release all the characters as Hot Toys? If thats the case, don't you think that would make many collectors unhappy?

it's their ongoing policy to leave lines incomplete and many collectors unhappy, what's one more.

Logically Loki must be announced first. But this is HT...

Logically there is about 15 figures due before Hulk or any Avenger! HT doesn't work logically

LOL, I didn't know there was some law against posting in a thread one is interested in and voicing a legitimate concern.

There was a picture in the catalog showing Loki and Red Skull. Red was announced and is up for pre-orders everywhere, whereas Loki isn't. And I really want Loki, so I'm asking around.

It was a leaked catalogue, don't think it was released anywhere properly (could be wrong but i'd assume if it was released we'd have more images)

USO Cap was shown and hasn't been announced either, nor has Loki as you say. Hot Toys has to plan for these releases because otherwise they'll end up competing with themselves.

I don't know how i'd feel if this got scrapped for the Avengers version because i'd love to have the Casket of Ancient Winters. Needless to say i think Hot Toys will capitalise on the Avengers to release Thor Loki and then wait down the line for an Avengers version because then they don't have to release another one (Thor 2, November 2013) until mid 2014 which is 2 years away. So way i see it, we'll get a Loki each year, Thor 2012, Avengers 2013, Thor 2 2014

It looks Like Thor suit changes in movie. Looks like some scenes he has the original suit and then the sleeveless looks a bit different.

I need to see some side by side comparison but Loki might be different. He also looks to have grown his hair longer. If anything, they can give him his "business" type suit that was shown in the new trailer

We were talking about Loki then this suddenly changed to a Thor discussion. Question here is whether they will release a Thor or Avengers version of Loki. Doesn't really make sense to release the Thor movie version, I think it's too late for that.

If anything, I think they will go the sleeveless route so they have a different look. Plus it would get those who want the sleeves to buy the Thor version of Thor too.

Ok I decided to do a little bit of a comparison between Loki's costume from Thor and his costume from The Avengers.

The first image is the preview from Hot Toys that was shown around the end of last year, which feature the outfit from Thor and the second image shows his fully armoured look from The Avengers.

As shown there are significant differences between the two outfits which easily provide a drastic enough difference for two separate figures.

The third image shows what i shall call Loki's casual outfit from the Avengers, comparing this to his armoured outfit from above the only differences i can make out are the addition of armour plates on his shoulders and forearms, the addition of the cape and a second "jacket" which looks to have armour plating as well.

Looking at this i would imagine we'll still get Loki from Thor because the figure has been made so it would be a waste for them to not sell it. If Hot Toys make Loki from the Avengers i'd imagine we could get both outfits in one set and we'd be able to display Loki how we wanted.
