Awesome!!!! That helmet is badass! Besides at least one asgardian should be properly attired.

Avengers helmet is more accurate to the comics. It has the horns going forward instead of straight up. I like both styles tho.

Yes I can. Hot Toys aren't going to scrap a figure that they've already shown and thus are a good percentage of the way through production on just because there's potentially another version to be done before this one hits the shelves.

HK Figure Club interviewed Howard Chan recently. Here are the highlights of the interview :

-Hot Toys will launch 7 or 8 characters from The Avengers.
-Hulk is in progress, the body will not be fully Rubber.
-Black Widow will have a new body and hair are sculpted.
-Loki suit will be the one of The Avengers, the Thor Suit Version was canceled.
-Captain America Golden Age Version is still scheduled.
-Tony Stark Race Suit Version and Whiplash Armor Version have been set aside because of an overloaded schedule.
-The X-Men First Class range is almost complete, it will be announced soon.
-The license Green Lantern was canceled.
-The licences of Iron Man 3, Superman Man Of Steel and Wolverine will be exploited.
-The next Star Wars figures should be Anakin and Han Solo, followed by a character from Episode II.
-Rambo or Rocky should be a DX but are not yet in production.

I really like his helmet in Thor, plus we would uave had the casket of ancient winters

I guess with them launching the Avengers line they thought it risky to launch 2 Loki's so close to one another and similar in appearance

With Thor, it's been a while so they can get away with the Avengers version now

I still would have bought both though.

I actually prefer the more gold armor accents of the Avengers version so good for me.

Yeah I'm tore up about it. It would be silly to release to figures of the same person so close together as well. I still hope they include the casket from Thor though.

okay well i read two different posts that the Thor version of Loki was cancelled, and one that said it was set aside for the Avengers version first....i'm still hoping to god they release the Thor version. I love how he looked in that movie. I think his armor/costume looks better and i liked his hairdo in it more but hey that's just wishful thinking...

Avengers v Thor versions are six and two threes to me. Casket of Ancient Winters vs multiple sceptres. The ideal would be to have both, (on the Avengers armoured body for my preference) but that's hardly likely.

Like the T1000, the amount of accessories that came with allowed you to make a complete new figure, it was practically DX standard (minus PERS, ugh!)

It would be absoutely amazing if they included 2 outfits with this figure if they don't plan to release the Thor Version. Imagine being able to throw together another Loki with a different helmet n everything

They've done it before, a shame it won't happen (being realistic)

Just sell a variety of clothing sets like civilian clothing (Tony's suit), unreleased movie attires (Racetrack suit for Tony, Loki's Thor costume) and accessories (loose Thor hammer, Caps shield, T-1000 officer belt, Iron Man donut box and so on). They are missing out on a quick buck.

That's a great idea. The demand for them is clearly there, I personally would buy everything you mentioned. Other than the 'Tony Stark Suit' and their earlier military stuff, have ever released any accessories by themselves?

Well screw them I was keeping my Thor and Odin so I could complete the set but now its makes no difference.

The new Thor will be an upgrade and so why bother to keep both with out Loki it feels like it is incomplete
