Ever time I see an auction like that I thank my lucky Stars I only paid $137 for mine.

The funny thing is, the billie jean version wasnt even that good.

Im a big MJ fan and yet i didnt buy it when it was just released.

Yes...there's something weird with that face but I guess it will maintain that price range because it was the first to be released and also because is completely sold out!!...do you think the Thriller version could reach that level?

I doubt it....we gotta consider that at the time that the Billie Jean fig was produced, only targeting a small amount of people were even interested in the figure so obviously Hot Toys would have produced a decent amount to fulfill that demand. Now that MJ passed away, Jackson Mania has hit it huge so it's a no brainer that Hot Toys would like to capitalize on sales so production numbers will be much higher than the Billie Jean ver. It's supply and demand at it's finest.

Sculpt is awesome... it might look a bit weird if it's not "striking a pose"...
But it captures MJ's dancing attitude!!

Someone mentioned this being on eBay before and now you can find it on Toys2. Perhaps it's already been posted, but I didn't see. Released next month at $50 each.

Yes the expression does captured his dance attitude. BUT when the real mj does that expression, you can really see the differences.

The eyes and eyebrows are just wrong to me.
