Let's try that again. Here is a great pic with rooted hair. Looks awesome even though it's battle damaged I'm sure the could do Peter much better.

I like both sculpted and rooted hair. Especially after seeing what they are doing with the new RDJ head for iron man.

That is not being released. It is a custom job. If you want to see what production Hot Toys figures look like with rooted hair, check out the Silk Spectre, Black Widow, and Sucker Punch dolls. Personally, I would be strongly compelled to toss any male head with rooted hair in the garbage if it came with a figure I otherwise wanted.

i would much rather have a cloth mask than a Toby sculpt...

I knew they didn't make the sculpt separate for no reason. Really curious to see how this turns out, even though I'll still be passing.

I cant stand rooted hair on figures. Please stay with sculpted. It works fine with two hair pieces for different looks and I dont think they should stray from that. DOWN WITH ROOTED HAIR!!!

I really thought HT was moving into rooted hair territory. That is a bad ass custom though. I would be happy either way as long as it turns out right.

Two interchangeable molded hair sculpts would be the best so we are not stuck having to buy battle damaged spidey to get a regular haired sculpt.

THE only way i can watch spiderman 3 is if go past the horrible parts and watch the rest as if it never happened.. love the spidey but they shouldve edited the dancing parts.. I will be picking this up for sure and using for a head sculpt for a photogher peter reporter .......

I knew they had to up the ante for this release and including a Tobey sculpt and that sweet Sandman base did just that. Otherwise this would almost be like a "repaint" and non-hardcore collectors would have been happy enough with red/blue Spidey, easily passing on this.
