I know there's probably enough threads about this figure but let's try and keep this to just a poll. Alot of people were disappointed that the new HT DX03 was Jacko...so let's put it to a poll just to see the numbers out of interest.

I've deliberalty only made it 2 options so you have to go one way or the other...If you are undecided or don't care then just don't vote at all.

Please vote honestly, none of this "it's good but only cos I can save money" or "it's good for the MJ fans" or "it's good for HT revenue". Are YOU happy about HT's decision, regardless of whether you can afford the fig or not?

Sales wise I'd say it's a good thing. This is probably still the best time to capitalize on an MJ collectible. I suppose it's also a good thing to show everyone that the DX series is going to be varied and not just film based.

So no issues here.

YES! I am extremely satisfied with this choice though i feel it could use more accessories... ROCK ON HT!:rock:rock:rock:rock

Looks like a great figure but dont think it has enough to justify a DX slot wont be buying but but not 2 upset about it.

I collect only movie figures so no interest on the certain one...but definitelY this is the ultimate figure for mj fans...now i would like to see more dx movie based figures

I don't see a problem with it, or the need for a poll when the outcome is moot. So No, it was a good choice, and Yes, it was a bad choice.

Couldn't have said it better. From a sales perspective, I can totally see why HT is doing this, and it may even bring in new customers. Personally, I couldn't be more disappointed. Even if pigs flew and Hell froze over, that strange little man would have no place on my shelf. But I can't say it was a bad choice on their part!

This is pretty much my perspective as I've discussed in other threads. Not a figure that I will pick up, but a good move from a business perspective, IMO.

They could easily have made it a regular M Icon figure. Look at all the stuff that came with Marcus, he was a standard MMS. Waste of a spot. I thought the line started off as MMS DX now it's anybody's guess what the next figure will be.

Since most collectors collect based on license, not company product numbers, I'd say it doesn't really matter.

Some people are going to dig it, others will not. Indifference should be a poll option because it doesn't really matter to many, many people here.

Yeah that's right, They can call it DX, M ICON, whatever, I Do not care as long as they keep offering me new Michael Jackson Figures. :D

At long last Michael gets the respct he should have had from collectible makers years ago! :D THANK YOU HOT TOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:chew :clap

I loved MJ when I was younger, thriller was cool but MJ was a weird sick little man and I just don't need a toy of a pedophile, I don't care how good his music was. The figure looks nice but to give him the DX treatment, I give it the super duper PASS!!!

Where is the "Meh, I would have preferred a T1 Ahnuld choice?". It's not BAD but they could have picked something else that wasn't so close to a previous release (Thriller).

Mmmm, kind of difficult...but commercially speaking it is a good choice because Michael Jackson fanatism is still high and avid MJ fans are going to buy anything related with the King of Pop...but I think a non DX BAD figure would it be ok...

Now with this decision and with the realease of the preview pictures already in the net I wonder if the whole "what MJ figure do you like to be released?" poll was just a joke because it seem like this figure was decided from months ago!!

And talking about the figure...wow...yeah it looks like Michael but it is not a close likeness...like many of you have said: it looks like an asian guy dressed like MJ...the hair looks weird and even the outfit seems like flat or wacky...don't completely like it...will pass it for sure...still "happy" with my MJ Thriller...

I'm not going to get it, but I'm excited for the other collectors on the board that want it.

As far as if it's a good or bad choice? If it's profitable and leads to figures being made that I do want, it's a good choice. lol.

For those that missed it :):

In other words, was Jacko a figure you were not hoping for?
