HT MMS-432 Batman Tactical Batsuit Version

Just got this figure, last Tuesday. Overall, I think it’s a pretty cool figure. I don’t think the stock cape is too bad, but if I do decide to switch it out, can anyone tell me, is the cape on this figure very difficult to change out?

It's easy to change. Just pop the head/cowl assembly off and you'll see that the hole for the cape fits around the neck peg.

The stock cape is a lot better than I expected. Based on YT videos I'd seen I expected it to be terrible but it's really not bad.

I found some time today to mod my Tactical Bats. I widened the neck, added ankle extenders and lowered the belt a bit. I really hated how those elements looked straight from the box. Now I finally feel good about the figure, it actually got its 5 mins of being one of my favorites in the collection

I was also thinking about changing the cape to a custom one, but honestly I like the stock cape. It looks great and drapes fine (especially now that the figure is a bit taller). Surprisingly I don't care about the cape pattern and the front pleats not being 100% screen accurate, it matches the figure

Looks great. Those aspects are starting to bother me as well. What is the recipe on your mods?

Honestly, the most important part is using peg extenders for the boots. Once that’s done, you can adjust the belt and leg armor to your personal preference.

Thanks for info. Yeah, I’m still on the fence about changing the cape because the stock one is actually pretty decent. It drapes a lot better than some of the capes on earlier Hot Toys Batman figures. I noticed the pattern on it right away and wondered if it was screen accurate, as I didn’t really notice it in the movie. But either way, it doesn’t really bother me.

What specific peg extenders and what about the neck, because it is too skinny from the front. Just stuff it with cotton until satisfied?

I know what you mean. I got this on a whim, and for some extra cash to have on hand, I listed on ebay at a high price back in January, and then down below retail price, and along with two auctions, this Batman figure just won't sell! I wonder if the upcoming Batman Justice League Regular suit figure will gather dust too?

While I can see the appeal in a unique, stylized look -- it's a lot of money for a really specialized design that is likely to date badly. I might have considered it in a smaller scale, but I wasn't going to go Hot Toys on it. I do like to look in on this thread to check it out sometimes.

There are plenty more throughout this thread and you know it.

There is a super easy fix for those who don't like the legs.
Now, you don't like the figure because you disliked the movie, it's your choice but it's got nothing to do with the figure itself.

How offensive. You appear to be suggesting that if someone can see Affleck's likeness then they are handicapped or mentally impaired.
You seem to be using disability as an insult; something that is to be looked down upon or something which makes a person inferior.

My job involves working with a number of children with learning difficulties and they are some of the most inspirational and wonderful people I have ever met.

Shame on you for your ignorant use of language.

Yeah. It looks almost like they just shrunk Ben Affleck down to size. The figure isn’t perfect, but in the likeness department, it gets high marks.

To me it is instantly recognizable as Ben Affleck. That's who I see, unambiguously. Which is pretty amazing if you think about what an achievement that is given how much of the face is hidden by the cowl.

Oh, definitely. What little face is seen is Ben spot on. Similar to how Keaton Bats was just as recognizable.

I mean... if you cover up the legs the torso upwards is practically spot on. It's not like the BvS Batman or SS didn't have the same leg problem.
