If people don't mind, that's cool. It's like if your car is bright pink and YOU don't mind, that's cool. But if someone points out the obvious like "your car is bright pink" and your response to that is "no it's not" or "I don't mind if it's pink because to me it looks red" or something equally evasive from the truth than that's when it becomes kinda sad. People try to act like just because the height of the HT P1 doesn't bother THEM, that somehow magically erases the fact that it's short. Not sure how that works!? :lol

It's been analyzed and discussed to death.. yet you'll still see people bringing it up. Which is why I respond. Equal viewpoints.

Cinemaquette FTW.

I can't tell you if it's too short until I have it in hand, but I do know that more often than underscale 1/6 figures are overscale. People ^^^^^ed a lot about HT Hellboy being too short, especially when compared to the SSC Hellboy and that's not true. It's rare for anyone to complain about things being too big. I think it's less about accuracy for most people and more about the big=better thing most people have.

I disagree, specifically regarding HT Predators because ALL of the HT Preds are too small. They should be 15" or slightly bigger to be in proper 1/6 scale (Kevin Peter Hall who played P1, P2 and the P2 Elder was 7'2" and I've shown pics of him in costume that shows he was at the very least 7'5" which would be 15"). But instead, they've all been 14". Ok fine. That's what makes the P1 height stand out even more: not only are the HT Preds all short to begin with, but now here's one that's even shorter! I've seen a few people say 13". That's short. No two ways around it. So has nothing to do with "big=better".. it has to do with consistency: Every Predator HT has released has been 14" until P1.

Um... you disagree... nothing you posted disagrees with anything I posted. I wasn't talking specifically about the Predators. Oh and your face is short.

Yes, I understand what you mean. But I quickly went over the responses to my post and there's nothing like it.

They only wrote WHY the P1 is shorter and HOW to make it more equal with the other preds. Couldnt find anything which would point to actual denial..

Here's the first three responses to your post (in a row) and ALL of them are filled with denial and excuses.

Trust me people, when you get him in hand the new body of this predator is more natural looking than other predator body designs, those pictures are misleading. I put the pred 2 next to the pred 1, side by side there really isn't that big of a height difference, to me, the pred 2 body especially around the torso just doesn't seem to flow right.

The new pred 1 body seems more like the right scale. Even the Elder seems a bit awkward around the bicep muscles.
the movement of the pred 1 is more film accurate when posed. :D

The downward angle also exagerates the height difference.

And once you put him on his base he is barely shorter than the others.

1) WHY
2) dont know, truth? dont have the figure yet so I cant agree nor disagree.
3) cant agree with that since I dont have it yet and as you posted before, maybe it should be 15" after all.

Some would call it denial, I call it opinion.

Like I said, his base is higher than the others and the difference is not very noticeable. I'm not denying that he is shorter; he definately is. I am just saying that the base will help make him taller.

Downward angles DO exagerate height differences. Especially if there's distance between the subjects. I don't get why this is such a vendetta. Too short? Yeah, so? Almost every 1/6 figure I have isn't to scale. Many are too big, some too small. It's no big deal.
