It looks awesome! Definitely!

But, the fact that it’s more or less a statue doesn’t make it the instant buy which I thought it would be…
I can understand why HT chose this route though. The organic shape of the bike and extreme lying position of the driver, would require some extreme articulation and combined with the light-up body it would be near impossible I think…

I’ll have to see how much this is gonna cost, before deciding…

I wonder if they can make the light up feature in a regular fig though, since those have to be able to move…

I'm surprised and kinda shocked. I LOVE the designs for Legacy though... such a difficult decision. Why the heck would you be able to take his helmet off but not take him off the bike? Very deceptive indeed. Shame Hot Toys, shame.

I think it looks cool. I prefer statues to figs, so I'd like to see if SS will produce a proper light cycle statue before committing to purchasing this one.

A decent price and a piece I would most likely display under acrylic without moving it very often.

Also I imagine someone will have a mod for this about 5 minutes after it ships, and that it won't be that big a deal to detach the figure.

You can't take off his helmet, he has two headsculpts

I don't draw a hard line on statues vs. pose-able figures. I'll go with whichever looks better.

HT is offering this for ~300 USD. Compare that with the recent Medicom (Akira) Kaneda and Bike. The figure was 200 USD and the bike was a separate item for nearly 400 USD. I had to pass. One of my favorite movies of all time, BTW.

300 dollars is a lot more affordable.

So it's a statue. It would seem HT doesn't find statue to be a dirty word.
