Well I'm not freaking out or panicing, but I have been in similar situations before that 90% of the time do not work out, or have a poor outcome, and the simple answer is always communication. I think thats all any of us are saying is the problem.
I had an artist at another forum that owed people work for 6 months, the understading was it would have arrived within a week or two. Then he cut communication with everyone. I in retrospect was a bit of an ass but it finally envoked a responce(the only one anyone got) and i got my work owed. Unfortunately the people who didn't speak up are still waiting on there stuff over a year later. Most can't get there money back either because there is a 6 month rule or w/e with credit cards and filing a claim.
I'm not saying this is at all the situation here with Chris, I am however a bit frustrated when someone makes an agreement with you, and then doesn't respond to your messages for over 2 months when they clearly have time to do other things like ebay, or update facebook etc. When you have time to do leisure activities, you should be responsible enough to contact the people you are engaged in a commitment with.
When I buy something or start a commission, its under the impression that item would arrive within at most, a year's time. I can't wait 2-3 years for something to actually work out. I'm 23 years old, I don't know where I will be in 3 years, I maybe in another country working some crazy job, I maybe dead. It also seems from the 3 times I have seen this thing happen this year alone, it is from the artist trying to take on far more work then any one person is capable of doing.
Again not looking for trouble or saying this is the deal with Chris, it just seems he definately needs to adress everything outstanding with his plan of attack to put us at ease.
Because even if he knocks out 4 Ghostbusters, Dr Who, Summer Glau, House, and 6 Million Dollar Man in the next 6 months, the Jack Torrence or Milla people are going to be upset about the wait. And its when that happens those people will start panicing and really complaining, and I'd hate to see a repeat of what happened to Les not long ago.
