Hi guys!

Simple question......if you have the Hulk PF and like the new Avengers Hulk Maquette coming out soon, but don't have enough to have both, would you sell your PF to be able to get the new Maquette?

Well Bear, I don't own the Hulk PF. Never have and never will. I just don't care for it. However, I'll be all over this Maquette. I love a modern looking Hulk. I really like comic based statues over movie ones but this piece looks too good. I have the Ghost Rider maquette and to this day think it's the BEST GR statue ever made. It beats all comic version GR statues I have seen. This Hulk maquette has a lot of potential. I can't wait to see finished pics.

As for your question.... how much do you like the character? Then I have to ask, how much do you like the PF? If you are a huge Hulk fan and absolutely love the PF, then sell something else that you don't care for as much. If you think the maquette looks much better than the PF then sell the PF. Just remember, once you sell the PF, you may have a devil of a time getting it back if you have second thoughts.

I would sell the pf and buy the maquette.

Find its hard to understand how some people criticize the Hulk life size bust about the grinch look with the tiny nose, when the Hulk pf have the same look as the life size bust.

I find it hard to understand how people criticize either one when both are based on kirby's hulk

I find it hard to understand how people find personal opinions hard to understand.

I find it hard to understand how people compare the head of the 1:1 bust to the Hulk PFs? Though the bust is suppose to be based on the Kirby style, they look nothing alike. You will never find a better Hulk statue made by ssc. The quality and weight will of the PF will never be surpass again!

I find it hard to understand why would someone not want to own BOTH the PF and the maquette. Oh no, wait... I understand, its cause they are losers in life.

I find it hard to understand that you didn't start your sentence with "I find it hard to understand" and just put down "comic wins ever"? :thwak :p

is joke my friend

well,i like movies from marvel but my true love are comics where all begins

i dont want a movie representation, but i respect people who likes

You where suppose to start your sentence with "I find it hard to understand". The last 4 posted had that and you ruined the flow of it.:wink1:

I'll probably get the new Hulk Maquette but one thing I know for sure is that I'll never sell my PF to pay for it.
Hell if I ever have to sell one Hulk in my collection it'll be the maquette.

As long as I'm collecting I'm keeping my PF (most impressive piece in my collection)

The original is always the best. Besides, the comic version IS the original Hulk, he was a comic book character before he was anything else.

I should of never sold mine. :slap

As I said, I also prefer comic-based statues over their movie counterparts, but really, how many of you would have even guessed this 'new maquette' sprung from a movie, had it been released a couple of years ago? It's not like it says Ruffalo in the slightest. What makes it so movie-like that a 'true comics fans' may deem it unworthy?

So this has a more lifelike portrait than the so-called 'Kirby' Hulk, so what? Andy Bergholtz's Punisher PF also has one of the most elaborate human faces I've seen on a Marvel PF, and I didn't see anyone saying 'Oh, it's not a Ross Andru Punisher'.

Seriously, folks, this is a kick-ass Hulk statue, period. It's not heresy that a new Hulk piece may come along that gives the almighty PF —which, granted, is still a wonderful statue in its own right— a run for its money, you know.

Too bad this will cost an arm and a leg.
