I mean everyone is different and some people have a different sense of humor. I've said things in real life to people that under normal circumstances would be considered offensive. But because I can judge how someone will react to what I'm saying BEFORE I say it, it never comes off that way. That's the key. You have to know how far you can go with someone before saying off hand stuff. And unfortunately, when it comes to the internet that's impossible. So it's a gamble.

How can posting a pic of a dead baby on a collectibles board's Kids thread EVER be in good taste? And, not only that, make a disgusting comment that he was happy that it was killed before he had to pay anything???

Humor is subjective. I can laugh in a movie if someone walked up and punched a random baby. Or kicked a woman out of a window. ANYTHING can be funny. From dead babies, to 9/11, to dead people. Are they in good taste? Probably not....but we all enjoy some dark humor.

ugh. I sent Gruesam a sincere personal PM of apology. I don't know what more i could do for him to make him feel better. "I only talk to humans" that's a BIT harsh isn't it? It's human to forgive. I'm clearly not the worst person in the world if I have the guts to publically humiliate myself like this because I felt bad about it. I never had a kid. In fact I am still a kid (well not legally) and it's often hard for me to man up about posting things like this. Here. I'm manning up for it and I feel like crap about it. Don't know what else to tell ya gruesam and others who may be offended. Honestly I DO get a kick out of "messing with the internets" but I just went too far I guess.

To clarify and further rub in my shame, I had posted a pic of a dead fetus saying something to the affect of I had a coat-hanger job and saved money or something. It was sick and tasteless.

Just like someone might not find your sig funny GrueSam. I've met REALLY religious folk who would not be amused by a masturbation joke and would be offended by that and would also be outraged that YOU would think it was funny. Everyone is different.

Why would anyone think just the pic was funny!? It's the context. The thread was for people to post pics of their kids and this lame posted a pic of an aborted fetus. I would've laughed. Would I laugh at JUST seeing a pic of an aborted fetus outside of that context? No. Why would I!?
