The pic sounds like it was definitely beyond the board rules, and entirely wrong. It doesn't matter what one finds offensive or what they believe about anything. A dead person, especially a child... is a horrible thing to post on a board.

I know you are sorry and all, but if I posted a picture of a fully nude grandmother blowing an 8 yr old... no amount of "sorry, my bad." comments would be good enough to save myself from the backlash.

We all have a different definition of comedy, but some things just shouldn't be posted on a message board.

Reviewing this issue I went through that thread, which I haven't done in a long time. Seeing those pics really makes you smile and I can't imagine seeing something disturbing in that context - it would be far more offensive than it would in some other thread. Not that such an image would ever be allowed here - but in that thread would be far worse.

I've cleaned up that thread of all the crap so it can remain a positive place. I've temporarily banned leadercobra - he does seem remorseful, but we'll see if he can change his posting habits.

comparing a sig of TEXT that talks about masturbation to an actual photo of a dead fetus and saying they should be held on the same pedestal is ridiculous.

There are many things in this world that are offensive to different people but i would like to think that people with decent breeding would list a photo of a dead fetus right there at the top above a sig hinting at masturbation.

I personally am not offended at the sight of an aborted fetus. Sorry. Its a fact of life. Women get abortions.

War is also a fact of life, but we don't want to see pics of soldiers with their heads smashed in or their guts hanging in their outstretched hands... Especially if it were a thread about veterans.

I understand it was a joke, but it went far beyond taste limits for a forum like this.
