Is this method even any different? I'd contend that the only difference is that it's worse. The whole problem with Bush was that he paved the way. Now that we're onto Bush III (Clinton was Bush I) the momentum is finally peaking.

If it started before Bush, is worse since Bush, and hasn't ended after Bush ... why is it named after Bush? Why is Obama not "Clinton 3"? Why was Clinton not "Obama 1"?

There is a reason that Texas has weathered this storm better than any other state ... and therein lies the way out ... low taxes, pro-business policies, etc. A federal spending-spree is the LAST thing this country needs right now -- and the people seem to realize that more than the leaders do ... prepare for extreme congressional/senatorial turnover in 10 months.

Obama's had his chance to blame Bush ... but now he needs to put up or shut up.

That's it, I'm down with this thread (though I'll be browsing for sure), but I think finally America is WAKING UP and realizing there is no such thing as magic beans and the "hope and change" that was campaigned on was a complete and total LIE (not even to mention "bipartisan-ship," "televise on C-Span about Helath Care", "cut pork and earmark wasteful spending in bills and make those names available", tripling the national deficit, etc. etc. etc.), and deceived the majority of the American population, and the only way out of this mess is through a hard work ethic, American ingenuity, self reliance, and not through government hand outs. Everything I've heard in the past year from Washington has been a God damn lie, and I'm pissed about it. No such thing as a free lunch, and anyone who promises it is a frack ing liar.
