I Miss the 80's

The movie itself is definitely overrated, but Al Pacinos performance is incredible.

It's a time capsule of the period. And Al rocked that role.

It's a great movie if you cut out all the ghetto trash "thug life" embracing BS. The book was far better though.

I saw it, and, the story bored me, it was just weird, and then every single rapper alive has posters of the movie and the guns, It was so weird to see people embrace it, I never got it,
but I get what you guys are saying, maybe Ill try it again

Read the book. That'll give you a disconnect from the movie. Then if you like it, watch the movie. It's really a great "Hollywood" interpretation of what was going on in Florida with the Cuban community once the US opened up it's boarders to Cuban immigration and Cuba sent all their problem populace and political prisoners here.

I'm curious, with most of the 80's and early 90's with cartoons for kids, Saturday mornings and after school back in those days. What do kids watch in todays generation? because looking through Sky's TV guide, cartoons don't seem to exist anymore.
