Even if you left him feedback today it probably wouldn't even show until tomorrow through paypal. Then he would have to wait two to three business days for the money to be put into his bank account and have it to use. So chances are his family isn't eating until Monday now. :monkey1:lol
There is such a thing as a Paypal Debit Card, as soon as the money is in your Paypal account you can use it to make purchases.

feet back would have been funnier.............& more disturbing at the same time.....:monkey1

Feedback is precious, you must cherish it.

Sounds like someone that has English as a second language. Often what translates directly from another language comes out saying something different. I'd just take it as a request to leave feedback. Which of course you'll do, once the item arrives and you've finished eating.

:lol I guess the family feeds off of virtual ebay points :dunno
Definitely don't leave feedback until item get's there.

Maybe he needs the feedback so that paypal releases funds into his account.

Sometimes they need proof the item arrived. Its wierd.

Yup that is what is happening, I had this happen to me one time on a BUY IT NOW auction I sold. Paypal will not release the funds unless it's been pass a 22 day period time or they give Paypal a delivery confirmation tracking number and it's been delivered or the feedback as been responded back from the buyer.

When I sell and get paid, the funds get put into my PP immediately. i've never had payment held unless it's some weird method of paying by the buyer, like a personal check or something.

This does sound strange. I've never heard of PP holding the funds until feedback is received. I wouldn't think this would work well as some people NEVER leave feedback, even if it's positive experence.

Maybe it's also because I print all my shipping from PP itself if possible, so there is the proof of shipment.

Maybe they want to read your feedback first before they eat tonight? Your feedback is like a prayer.
Similarly, I'm thinking maybe he has very low self-esteem, and without your positive feedback won't have the will to feed his family.

Kuzeh, you should really have a heart and think of his family before thinking of yourself. That's what MJ would have done.

Mesa the funds get release as well with the shipping tracking information or it's pass the 22 day period of the auction.

Good thing is with my auction they left immediate feedback so the funds were release after it was delivered to the customer.

It's only happen once to me out of random for some reason though. None of my other auctions had their funds held they were all instant.

payment on my last ebay sale was held up as well.
It said the funds would be released once the buyer left positive FB or 22days.

The buyer received the item and was happy, but still failed to leave FB.
I ended up having to ask them to leave FB to release the funds under the 22day mark.

Not sure why this was. i have 100% positive FB.

Ditto! :rock

I don't get this new policy by Paypal/Ebay. It makes no sense to me, do they want to discourage sellers from selling on their site? They don't even make money on the buyer.

Makes no sense. I despise selling anything on Ebay. Literally anything.

That's a really crappy rule. Buyers forget to leave me feedback half the time. I don't bother hassling them with a note, because I have enough feedback accrued that it doesn't matter, but I use Paypal funds to pay for the shipping, and would tell Paypal that without that, I ain't sending a damn thing to anybody.
